It would be interesting if you made a version for amulets alone, another for levels and an all in one.
If we get 2 points per level up it would mean we could potential have a total of 57 skill points not incluiding the amulets of power and extra points. That ammount of kill points would make your character so broken you could literally make everything on Trial Settings the hardest possible and still would be a walk in a park. Some people would like to play things balanced.
I absolutely agree, When I downloaded I had been under the assumption it would be per level we'd get the points, its hard enough finding half decent mods for dragon age inquisition, just wish this one provided what it promised.
Thanks, I'll try this out! Some people just don't understand mods are a great way to increase replayability. After a second playthrough I guess I'll just go back to Witcher 3, which actually allows people to play around with their world with a bigger modding community (which I have, a billionth time). Why be stingy when we paid for these games with our own hard earned money? Why not let let people bloody play around and play the game their own way? It's a GAME for bloody hell's sake.
(honestly its as if these games were all free handouts or something)
Anyway, just putting in my opinion in the matter. Honestly, some people...
Already used this mod for 40 hours and for what i can say, even the double ability points make the game extremely easy if you are using amulets of power restored and item duplication glitch. At level 20 no enemy will stand a change agaisnt at you, even at Nightmare mode.
Thank you! I hope everyone enjoys this and, should you find it not working/bugging out, please let me know the exact situation. Although I tested it from a technical standpoint, I haven't played through an enitre game with this, but I think everything should be fine.
Hey I'm leveling up to 10 in the Storm coast with the triple points version installed. I'm only getting 1 point.
Edit: Double points version doesnt seem to be working either, and I tried leveling to 10 in the western approach instead, but it didn't fix the problem.
Ignore me if this is rehashing something you already figured out yourself, but in case it helps: I've actually looked into doing this myself, and the level-up ability points are different from the amulet and perk points--those two go into the character's ability point bonus, while the level-up points are calculated directly in the character total. In other words, the AP seems to be calculated on the fly, via a lua script that just uses the formula "level + bonus". Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to edit the scripts in the current modmaker (or rather you can, but it just merges as a null). The best workaround I can think of is incrementing the bonus at level-up instead, but hell if I know how to do that.
