Dang this set is beautiful! I do wish more people focused on Grey Warden themed armors but unfortunately not too many people do :/
Since you gave this a go, would you also perhaps give this one a go? I think it would be cool to be able to alternate to these normal and officer Warden armor/helmet styles in-game, ESPECIALLY with the new "Helmets On" mod to have helmets in conversations and cutscenes! oh I see, I've just restarded playing the game I've yet to recruit him. but in the cutscenes or just before talking to him it doesnt show up,. And I have the manbun with beard plus de retexture of the orlais armor and the starter replacer.
Hmm, that sounds odd. You might try using "Blackwall - Heavy armour replacer - Orlais heavy adventurer armour" as well. This replaces all heavy armours from Blackwall with the Orlais adventurer armour. Might be an issue there. (Also want to mention that sometimes switched armours or outfits don't show up at all in Haven, only floating heads... I believe this might be a bundle issue and I don't know how to get around it at this time.)
I tried installing only this mod, and still wouldn't work, so at least is not a conflict problem, but I will try installing this replacer too see if it works

I installed 3 of the files (eye, hair and face texture) and it made my game freeze whenever I entered the chantry in Haven. What a shame to uninstall them.
What a shame. I ran into the problem sometime as well, but it's hard to tell what causes it, cause mostly it's fine. Haven seems to be a returning issue for me. You could try again installing the mod again in Skyhold, and maybe try only slme of them to see it that helps.
I had the exact same problem, and I had to remove them from my game. It made me so sad, since this is my absolute favourite Blackwall appearance mod. I don't really know a way around it either, so I'll have to install it another time or perhaps after the mod is patched.
Not sure if people are still having this problem or not but for me it was just the change of eye color the caused the freezes. The other 2 work fine. Hope that is helpful for some.
Hi, I absolutely love your Blackwall mods, make him waaayy hotter.... if that's even possible :P There's one slight problem I encountered however I was hoping you or somebody else could help me with. I installed the manbun & beard combo, the starter armor and the face retexture. On first encounter (cutscene) everything looks as it should. After that, when I choose Blackwall for my party however his hair and beard go back to normal. I'd really appreciate any help with that because I love the way your mods make him look :) Thanks
PS: The face texture stays modded after the cutscene

I've already found problem mod . That is "Inquissandra" at nexus : https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/883?tab=description Buuuuuut why ? Do they use the same files?
The issue is most likely that for editing the body set of the inquisitor and for Blackwall you would edit the same file... When merging these will overlap. Not much to do about it at the moment. I'm currently working on porting most of my mods over to Frosty, so that might help the issue, but can't be sure yet. Might still take some time with Blackwalls mod as it's a lot of work.
I understand that this can be a little confusing. Here comes a short description: Starter armour: The armour Blackwall is wearing when you first encounter him in the Hinterlands. Armour replacer: The main armour file. This changes Blackwall's default armour in game (all default heavy armour you equip him with), as well as arm and leg add-on, so that everything looks smooth. This basically means that you won't see Blackwall's original default armour when you're out fighting ever again, with the exception of in Skyhold sadly. Unequipped armour: This file is probably the least usefull of the three. This changes the armour he's wearing when you haven't equipped him with anything. This only goes for when you're out in the field, not at Skyhold. Note about the Skyhold look: Sadly the Skyhold appearence is more troublesome to change. It uses a different file type, so Blackwall will most likely never be able to wear the adventurer armour there. Hope this cleared some things up!
Amazing work fantastic mods, I've used all your character edits its really uplifted the game experience, However I found one slight issue I would just like to bring to your attention, its only with Blackwall but I found my game freezes in haven and also it freezes on loading screens at haven, I had the same issue with the loading screens when I used the HD eye mod, so I removed the blackwall eye mod and everything runs smoothly the other characters eye mods don't seem to be a issue though so I'm not sure if you set it in another format? not sure how it works but just to let you know, thanks for the hard work they are all brilliant
Thank you for this comment. I had the exact same issues and was wondering what caused them. Now I can just remove the eyecolour mod without having to painstakingly try out every single other mod I have installed. Also, thank you, CaffeinePainter, for your excellent modding!
All your companions mods are amazing! It makes the game feels like a new one and makes me want to play again and again! I also really enjoy your Reshade, its quite dark and gritty. Would you ever share it?
