If you install the daimod, your Inquisitor is below level 10, and your Hawke only shows up with default weapons, you can fix this by installing a mod to remove item level requirements, which I have uploaded as a miscellaneous file on this mod page.
YES I am taking requests. YES I will love you if you tell me what materials you want it tinted with because it will save me quite a bit of time.
NO I cannot change armor models using this method. YES I have tried. NO it did not work. YES this includes the wardens. NO do not ask me about armor models. YES I will be really annoyed if you do.
EDIT: I am no longer accepting requests on this mod.
Just a quick question. If I'm doing a dagger rogue Hawke and I use the Hawke's key version... how is that handled? Does Hawke only have one key equipped and a generic dagger in the offhand? Or is it two copies?
This isn't a Frosty mod so there is no fbproject file, but I believe the mod's files can be exported from DAITools and imported into Frosty. You are welcome to edit Hawke's blueprint so they have a different second dagger equipped.
Sorry, I don't even have the game installed anymore. Your best bet for modding advice these days is probably the DAI modding discord https://discord.gg/wzJG7Mq
I don't know if it's because of some conflict with other mods but my Hawke shows up with no weapon at all lol. Maybe someone can help me about this issue or else I'll make an update if I ever find out the reason by myself.
Update: I sorted my mods, deleted a few and it finally appeared. I guess either there was a conflict or I didn't install it correctly in the first place. That said, thanks for the mod, I was so mad when I saw the ugly rogue blades the first time lol, I'm so grateful you did that mod, I'll sure use it for all my playthroughs.
If you're below level 10 or so, did you install the optional mod to remove weapon level requirements? That's the most common reason Hawke's weapons might not show up.
I was having trouble getting this to work, but I found the solution and thought I would share. I use both daimods & frosty mods, and this wasn't showing up when it was in my merged patch. This mod conflicts with Enhanced Character Creation. I had to load this mod through frosty and make sure it loaded after ECC. Works like a dream now!
There is a small issue with Hawke's weapon. After the second argument between them and the Warden during Here Lies the Abyss it disappears but then reappears and the ending cutscene of the mission or if the game is save-loaded.
Hi! Love this mod. Minor problem, my Hawke manages to keep the modded weapon (Bassrath-Kata, specifically) up until the literal final scene, where he charges off to deal with the Nightmare. At that point, it switches to the default weapon, or the one with the skull thing on top (not sure if this is the default or not). My Inquisitor is level 18 and I have installed that no level requirements mod. Any ideas how to fix this?
From what I can tell from a very quick look, it seems like the cutscene switches all of the Hawkes and Wardens to using the same generic longsword or generic staff model for that scene. It's possibly fixable but it probably wouldn't be a quick fix and I'm on a break from modding at the moment, sorry about that.
I'm using the Hawke's Key for a mage, and out of all Hawke's appearances, she only had the Key equipped once (during the conversation with Varric outside the war room before the siege of Adamant). Every other time Hawke showed up, she had just a generic staff. Any idea why this is the case?
Sorry it's been some months. In case you're still playing the game, I've learned that's an issue if your Inquisitor is below level 10. Right now it can be fixed by installing a mod to remove item level restrictions, which I have uploaded as a miscellaneous file on this mod page.
