Hey all! I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that has supported me. It took some time, but I'm finally employed full-time. Unfortunately, I won't be making any more mods for DAI, but I do look forward to modding the next Dragon Age. Hope to see some of you then.
And to those of you having issues getting my mods to work, try the following:
Go your game folder, where Dragon Age Inquisition is installed. One way to get there is to right-click on the game's shortcut icon (the one you click to launch the game), click on 'Properties' and then click on 'Open File Location.' When there, look for the 'Update' folder. Inside that folder is another folder called 'Patch.' Within the 'Patch' folder is a file called 'package.' Right-click that file and open it with Notepad. Where it says 'Version 11,' you change that to 'Version 12.' Save and close. You should now be able to run mods that require 'Patch 12.'
EDIT: Nevermind. The attack speed boost is caused by another mod that increases out-of-combat movement speed
I have an odd problem with this mod: the attack speed is quite fast if i start combat with a basic attack, and remains fast for as long as i hold the attack button, but if i release it (to move away for example) and then start attacking, it slows down (almost goes back to unmodded attack speed). Does anyone have the same problem?
Ive got the mod downloaded and the merged patch version of the game is set to 12 yet it doesnt seem to be working with the tier 2 version. No idea what im doing wrong.
Absolutely fantastic mod, works perfectly. I don't know if anyone has an answer to this, but I'd like to increase the attack speed further. Does anyone have any idea what exactly has been modified since jerrybullet is no longer making mods (I don't know if he's even active. If you are, you are amazing!)
