Due to catastrophic RL events, I am no longer able to mod, or reply to questions, or even access the internet on a regular basis. I apologize, but life happened. Health and happiness to you all. And don't neglect to give thanks if you have either.

Hi! I'm in love with the way this mod looks, but because I'm brand-new to modding, I can't exactly figure out how to configure the palettes, ie, I install the files and merge them in Mod Manager which of course tells me the colors are vanilla, so I'm clearly missing something obvious.

Thank you so much for your work, and any help you can give me is appreciated. :3

Hi! Sorry for the bad installation instructions. It will seem even more ironic when you learn that I had to ask the same question at some point.

With ModManager open, you will see all of your mods listed in the panel on the left. Scroll down until you get to the Palettes of Thedas mods. There will be four of them. Left click on each one. You will see a "configure" button on the right, just under the "description" box that says what the mod does. Click on Configure. A new window will open up. You'll have to make the window bigger to see all of the crafting materials, but you can do that by dragging the edges, just as you do with any other window. Click on each one and a pull-down list of options should appear. Choose the ones you want and then close the window. Repeat for each of the other components. Once you have everything set up the way you want, then hit Merge Mods.

That simple? I knew I was missing something in plain sight.

Thank you again for the taking the time to explain this to me, I'm so looking forward to using the mod!

Hey, does anyone know if there's a way to save configuration for later merges? I sometimes have to redo my patch for things like schematics spree etc (or just because I found a shiny new hair mod) and having to reenter all my selection is tedious at best. Otherwise, awesome mod, absolutely loving it. Cheers

For configurable mods, you can use Notepad++ to change the menu, so it defaults to your settings. Then you never have to change it.

I'm sorry to hear about your catastrophe.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the time and effort you put into this enormous mod at a time when modding materials wasn't just a case of tweaking a number.

Know that you've improved the experience for thousands of people. <3 As a modder, I know that sometimes you just want to read it.

I'm having trouble with some sections, of armors not being tintable, like the back of the boots pants and sometimes shoulders. Anyone know how to fix this?

Strangely none of the Ferelden colors work for me but every other color option does just fine. I manually set everything to 0 for no upgrades and to use Ferelden color scheme save for a few Tevinter ones which are the only ones working

Is any one having trouble with downloading this mod? I love this mod and its sister mod Seasonal Palettes, but the folders are downloading with just the images and no .daimod file. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's wrong?

Anyone know how to solve this error?

Exception message:Could not load file or assembly 'zlib.net, Version=1.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=47d7877cb3620160' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
    Source: DAIModManager
    Target: Byte[] DecompressBlock(System.IO.BinaryReader)

Seems I'm having a problem with configurable mods like this one and Conversation Camera Zoom but all other mods work perfectly. Many thanks

These are so amazing! I wish I could use them, but I seem to be getting an error when I try to merge the patch? I've uninstalled and reinstalled my modmanager a couple times but it's still not fixing it?

I get the same error on any configurable mod, I think, basically saying that the file wasn't found for some reason?
    Here it is copy-pasted exactly:
Exception message:Could not load file or assembly 'zlib.net, Version=1.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=47d7877cb3620160' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Yeah, this seems to be an issue on your end. Are you using ModManager 59 with Patch 12? I really can't support this or any of my mods on earlier versions.

I am. This is something I've noticed with any mod I need to configure, so maybe it's just my bad luck, honestly.

Did you ever figure out your issue? I seem to be having the same problem with every configurable mod.
