Although my mods were created and designed for DAI Mod Manager, they can all be imported and used by Frosty EXCEPT for the configurable ones. Unfortunately Frosty does not support configurable mods and is unlikely to do so anytime soon.
Mod manager says this mod is not compatible with my patch.
My mods were created with various versions of the modding tools and with various game patches up to and including patch 11 (internal version number 12). If you synchronise your game with Origin you will not get this error message. The game is pretty cheap now so please consider buying it.
I'm getting infinite loading on returning to Skyhold/fast travelling.
This is a known issue with some texture/mesh replacer mods. None of my mods fall into that category. The usual culprits are companion mods/cosmetic changes or texture replacers. The only way to track the issue is to remove those mods and add them back in individually. Check the comments section on all mods before you download them.
Do your mods work with Trespasser/JoH/The Descent/Black Emporium?
As far as I can tell all of my mods work in all of the DLC apart from the "investigate the bodies" scene in The Descent when all mods have to be disabled. Do that by incrementing the patch number in package.mft by 1 (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update\Patch) then downgrading it again when you're past that scene. All hex edit mods, as opposed to texture and mesh replacer mods, will work fine in the DLC. The other option is to use Frosty and import your Daimods or use both mod managers. You can find tutorials for this on the DAI Modding Discord.
Do you take requests?
Usually no, I don't have the time, but if it's an addition or a natural extension to one of my existing mods then I'll consider it.
I'm getting a error message from Mod Manager - something about zlib/mscorlib/blah blah
There are many things that can cause Mod Manager to crash and refuse to build a patch for you. Sometimes just reinstalling it can fix the problem. Sometimes you're trying to install an old mod that's not compatible with the latest game patch. Check out the troubleshooting guides on the DAI Modding Discord.
I'm still having problems getting your mod to work.
You can post a comment here, but I have made a lot of mods and don't always have the time to provide support. First try this troubleshooting guide DAI Modder Central on tumblr. If that doesn't solve your problem, then try the DAI Modding Discord server: https://discord.gg/wzJG7Mq
Glad to see this mod working on Frosty but is there anyway you can change the Free Army Warrior slots? 21 Armor, 24 Utility Metal, 16 Leather Defense, 4 Metal Defense. That would put it on par with BiS stuff. Same for the Medium Adventure
THANK YOU for the Inquisition Scout Armor schematic!!! I've loved that armor for ages, but could never use it for very long because of the low stats. Thank you!!
so the upgraded armors haven't shown in the shop nor in my crafting station, and i fear it's because i already had them in there, and i tried opening and closing the crafting window too see if the new schematics would appear occasionally, no dice.
would there be console commands that would delete the desired schematics and allow me to reacquire them, and perhaps force the schematic upgrade?
This is a limitation with modding the Frostbite engine unfortunately. It's a bit hit and miss if something will be changed when your character already owns it. You could try crafting one of the items as you may get the upgraded version despite what the crafting menu says (with this mod installed obviously).
i managed to sort it out, more or less. usually when a major DAI update hits i do a fresh install a few days afterword when mod authors start to get their patches out (well, years back when i played consistently anyway), and i feel good enough about said update to risk using it. well, i had taken a break from DAI mainly because all the armors i wanted to use made what was available at my current gear level rather rubbish looking, namely the generic stuff the PC got stuck with, and at the same time said armor sets gave a rather awesome appearance to your companions (i guess they wanted to force bland armor on us through the base game so we'd be starved for the good looking armor & gear they intended to sell us through clothing packs and dlc)... well, sorry didn't mean to turn this into a rant... lol. long story short, i forgot to do a clean install 5 or so years ago, and left a bunch of outdated mod stuff in there.
---edit also turned all my savefiles into 40-60 hour paperweights (figuratively speaking)
Had a weird issue with this mod. Mage battlearmor only allowed medium arms when crafting but looted battlearmor had light arms. I reinstalled the mod and it seemed to be working as intended.
I installed TMMArmourUpgradesShop and TMMArmourUpgradesDalishScout, I got Keeper Robe on sale for ~25,000. Is this a bug? If you install TMMArmourUpgradesKeeperRobe too, then Dalish Scout will appear, but both new armor will cost 0. The TMMArmourUpgradesDalishScout mod description also says about Keeper Robe.
