Those are definitely braids, not cornrows. Before anyone asks me the same question as the previous comment, I am black, Mexican, and white so I am familiar with quite a few hairstyles. ;)

Are you? lol. These are not cornrows. A simple google search would show that. Those are dutch braids.

I made this 'map' or 'menu' of base hairstyles including notes as to which ones do not work in the dlc's. For me, a hair mod doesn't work if it doesn't work everywhere in the dlc. I'm not going to play Trespasser flipping from one hairstyle to another because I walk through an Eluvian.

On another note, some hair mods using working base models, have textures that make them not work in Trespasser and other dlc's. There's a texture mod by Skara, mods/704 I think, that has a light version which does work in Trespasser, etc. Iirc it even works in the BE. Let it overwrite your hair mod and it will probably work. You'll have the style with Skara's texture.

    Hi Kadust,
I used your Mohawk braid mod, which also replaces base 047, in JoH just fine. I don't know why this one wouldn't show.

You can apply the two mods at the same time when they replace the same base. 1 will just overwrite the other.

This is one of my favorite mods! I'm not sure how much you are still into making new mods for this game, but I think it would be sweet to have a mod like this, except have the braids on both sides of the head, with hair falling down the back. Think Lagertha from the show Vikings. Anyway, I love your work and thought I would throw this idea at you :)

So I really really love this mod, it's gorgeous! However, I'm having this problem where it only shows up for cut scenes. Any suggestions for how to fix this? I'm fairly new to working with mods so any advice would be much appreciated

Change your mesh settings to ultra.

I am having the same problem as this guy, but only in jaws of hakkon so far, and my meshes, as well as every other setting able to be, are on ultra

This game is basically unmoddable, so some DLCs just have issues with some of the base hairs which causes some mods to not work with the DLC. Nothing i can do about that. I'd suggest find another mod that do work in Jaws of Hakkon and roleplay your character having a change of hair at this period of time?

This mod worked fine for me all through the main game for 98 hours.

Went to jaws of hakkon area, no more neat hair, back to the old one

Great hair, downloaded file specifically for human female. On ultra settings went to Black Emporium to change into this 'do and the mirror went to infinite black loading screen.
    Sigh. I must be doing something wrong . . . .

Endorsed though, because it took effort and I'll probably get this to work.

Update: DID get it to work. For those with trouble in Black Emporium what I did was change to base hair before installing mod. Saved in a new file. Then I merged in Mod manager and loaded save. Shows up perfectly

    Thanks again and fully endorsed!
