~*~ Halloween (mostly*) in Hightown ~*~

Do you like Halloween? Or perhaps just dressing up or some silliness to change things up? This is certainly not a mod for a serious, canonical play-through -  just a little something to bring a different look to the citizens of Hightown and perhaps also to your characters and their companions.

~*  How does it work and what does it do?  *~

Changes that can be seen are:

A: replacements for the noble clothing as well as colour changes for the chantry robes. Every version of the noble clothes will have a different theme. Not all are crazy costumes, some just have a changed colour scheme to better fit the changed NPC faces. Unfortunately there aren't that many NPCs that wear noble clothing. But if you, by any chance, use Kirkwall Expanded (It's a great mod. So if you don't already have it, you might want to give it a look), you will see much more people with costumes hanging out in Hightown as the low-poly NPCs are replaced with real NPCs. As long as they are equipped with the noble or chantry clothes, you will see them also wear the costumes. They however won't be wearing any costume makeup.

B: changed NPC headmorphs. They now will have either face textures that are already in the game and add to a spooky or unsettling appearance. You can find them here->  Or brand new face textures (Costume Makeup) which I've made for this mod. If you want to also use these for your own character, you can find them as optional files to download. But if you use the main file, you technically don't need to download them separately. You can instead just add the following lines to your chargenmorphcfg.xml :

<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM01_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM01V2_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM02_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM02V2_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM02V3_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM03_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM03V2_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM03V3_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM03V4_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM04_0d"/>
<resource name="art\characters\playercharacter\shared\heads\textures\CM05_0d"/>

~*  Want to use the new clothing options for your own character?  *~

Then you'll want to download the optional standalone version (Halloween Wardrobe). It contains all the changed noble clothing in the main file as well as some additional variants you won't get to see otherwise. You do not need to download the main file if you just want to use the clothing options and nothing else from this mod. But you'll need to use the console to get them into your game.

Stats: All the armours have different stats but they all improve with level up and have no requirements so you should be able to use them at any point in the game.

* why mostly? Because the main file changes some faces of NPCs that wear noble or chantry clothing. However the vanilla game reuses some of the faces for other NPCs, so you might encounter some NPCs with changed face textures in other places too. But it shouldn't be that many (I hope). I guess they just couldn't be bothered wearing the costumes. Also, any NPC who wears noble or chantry clothing will be wearing the new versions too - even if they are not hanging around in Hightown. Most NPCs with costumes will be in Hightown however but you may find some in other places too (looking at you Grace...)

Finally: I know I'm really late with uploading this mod but as always, things take longer than expected and where I'm living it is at least still Halloween, so... better late than never, right? Anyway, happy Halloween.
