I am curious, and in no way trying to pressure for more content/work: Are there not many of these instances in Act 2 & 3 or was it a design decisions to not include them?
It's been a while since I looked into these files at all, but IIRC there were far fewer of these choices past Act I. A few things I did leave out for the sake of compatibility with other mods, but I *think* it was mostly that these choices were primarily in Act I.
Thank you so much for creating this! It drove me crazy the first time I played that my usually diplomatic Hawke would simply get snubbed every time he tried to be more assertive.
Edit: Just a suggestion, but this mod could really benefit from being tagged as a QOL mod.
Okay, your post is years old, but this is really the issue that has been bothering me with personality-locked dialogue. Recently started DA2, so it's on my mind. In real life, I would be considered a diplomatic type, but wow!--at need, I can be strongly assertive! I am often sarcastic or charming, too! Imagine! -_- I am not stuck in one mode just because of past choices.
I just found both of these mods and was about to ask, glad I checked the posts. I am so INCREDIBLY happy I can use both!!! (Probably should be more exclamation points there, I'm sick and it's 4:30AM, but I'm trying to be calm -_-;) There are so many great bits that get personality locked, like Merrill ruining the 'fire' diversion when all I want to do most of the time is be a diplomat, or I really really want to punch certain people. Okay, most of the time diplomacy doesn't work and I have to kill everyone anyway, but if I try it's not my fault! I feel like that could be Varric's subtitle to Tale of the Champion, honestly.
Great, finally able to mediate properly between the dalish assassin and the ex-werewolf on the Wounded Coast even with a sarcastic Hawke (as always). Endorsed. :-)
Thanks for the MOD! I will certainly use it on my first playthrough. Sorry to ask this on your mod page, but as it's an old game I have no idea where to ask for information. I'm looking for a mod, if any, where artificial intelligence controls all characters, including the player-controlled one. I know there is a MOD like this for Origins, but what about DA2 there is something like this?
Thank you so much for this! It's really been a long time coming. I'm so relieved I don't have to use the console to temporarily change Hawke's personality for optimal results anymore! ;~;
I love the concept of this mod so much, for the sole purpose of being able to persuade the Dalish to not attack in the Dalish/Werewolf encounter instead of having to fight her. I always hated that you had to be a diplomatic Hawke for that check in particular. I'm not doing a DA2 playthrough rn but I will definitely need to grab this the next time I do!
That's exactly the encounter that prompted this! I always hated that, too, and would just straight up avoid the entire thing unless I knew I could persuade her, haha. But this takes care of that! :D

Thanks for the great mods :)

TL;DR, this is indeed a very good mod. 🤭
