I've swapped the appearance of an armour set using the .uti file but it seems that the new armour appearance using the default armour tint and not the tint of the armour's description. Is there a way to change a particular armour's tint using a .uti file? I'd like to change the tint of the armour match the description tint.
In the UTI, find "Material". This code refers to the material tints in item_materials.gda. The change won't take effect on items you already have, though; you'll need to spawn a new copy. Alternatively, if you go down to "TintOverride", this is a code from tint_override.gda, which will override the tint in "Material".
Very nice! All the colors make so much more sense. Seeing a green rogue armor called "crimson" was always such a weird thing. This especially makes those Coterie-style medium armors look fantastic!
