Apologies to anyone who was having trouble getting the mod to work. It was brought to my attention that I accidentally uploaded the mod as a loose file instead of an ERF. I have now packed the file, which should hopefully fix the issue of it not showing up.
I have this in my override folder (ERF) and for some reason it's just not showing up. Does anyone know if there's any mod conflicts that could be causing this? I can't see any obvious ones.
Quick question.. will this mod, as a loose file, overwrite any other mt_hed_maka_0t files packed inside an erf from other mods? (Natural Skin, for example, has a mt_hed_maka_0t file inside the packed erf) Or is it priority based on where it's placed in the folder?
I'm not sure that would work. I tested placing the unpacked MAKA file in the override but Natural Skins still took priority.
If you know how, I suggest unpacking the Natural Skins ERF, deleting the MAKA file and then repacking it in a new folder. The removal of the MAKA file should have no affect on the skins as it was simply an additional makeup fix rather than an essential part of the main mod.
If you would like to do the suggestion above but don't know how, I can guide you through it if you'd like :)
How would one go about unpacking the MAKA file? Also...uhhh...what is a MAKA file exactly? I know the ERF is the file that Natural Skins comes in but don't know how to unpack it. I'm a major modding noob. I can only do the very basics and know the simplest of terms. If you could get back to me I would very much appreciate it, would love to use this mod! (Honestly I only have Natural Skins for the Elves With Human Skin mod)
The mod doesn't seem to work for me. I even removed all my mods to see maybe some of them are causing the problem but no, it still doesn't work :( Help
I am relatively new to DA2 modding (I'm a skyrim modder). This is my first DA2 playthough. I've modded Origins and Inquisition in the past. I'm trying to go about using your mod because it looks 1000000x better than the current makeup which is hideous, however I'm not getting it to work. I'll preface this by saying, that one, I use vortex, two I have/had pineapple's makeup intensifier and natural skins and finally bidelles cosmetics. I saw below the comment about loose files and overwrites. If you could possibly shed some light, I'd really appreciate it. If it requires a new game, I'm only a couple of hours in and I don't mind too terribly. Thanks! :)
