Would there be a way to import a weapon model from Inquisition,like Isana's Song and use it to replace the Stone's Breath staff so it looks more unique?
Thank you for sharing the work you did here with all of us. I appreciate all the new options. And I realize you're not actively working on DA2 modding anymore, but if you ever happen to have the time and inclination, I'd LOVE it if you could add an option to replace the model for Malcolm's Honor with the one for the Conjuror's Stake. That, or the one for Allure's Crook. Those two are some of my favorite staff models in the game, and I always did wish I could see more of them.
Just got around to updating the mod for a new playthrough, I've added the option to replace Malcolm's Honor's model with the Conjuror's Stake and Allure's Crook as well as other options. About a year late, but at least it will be here whenever you play again.
For some reason I cannot get this mod to work even after several attempts. I manually downloaded the file, opened the folder & removed all but the choices I wanted. Then I put the folder into override. But when I go in game & buy The Turncoat's Walking Stick, it's invisible. I don't have any of the 3 mods that it says could interfere & I don't think any of my other mods would either... I have a screenshot of my override folder, if that'd help.
Maybe another mod that you have in that folder? The replacers here that replace The Turncoat's Walking Stick with the appearance of Staff "X" where X is another staff like the Staff of the New Growth or Staff of Parthalan (or whichever one that you picked) works as you can see in the pictures. The only thing that I can imagine could cause this would be having some other mod in the override that replaces the vanilla textures for Staff "X" because this mod only replaces the models which will reference those vanilla textures. Or perhaps having another mod installed that directly edits the .uti file for that specific staff (gen_im_wep_mag_sta_act1_03.uti).
I'll add both to my to-do list, for when I get back to Dragon Age 2 modding. At the moment, I'm focussed on Skyrim modding but when I get back Dragon Age 2 then I'll work on these. If you have any more suggestions then feel free to let me know so when that time comes I'll be able to mod all the requested mage related items at once.

Version 1.3 adds more options that will allow you to replace the models for Malcolm's Honor, Voracity and Valdasine with a couple unique staff models.
