Hello goodnight. I would like to know if this MOD can break the game's translation, as I use a community translation.The game uses the files in English but edited and translated into Portuguese.Will Varric's corrections be in English?
I found this mod 'cuz despite romancing Isabella (and scoring Merrill too), Varrick insisted commenting during 'Friendly concern' on my Hawk's non-existent homo relationship with Fenris, which is clearly a bug (never ever even flirted with that raging neurotic mage hater b*tthurt elf). Installing this mod just cuts the conversation in the middle of the sentence right after Varrick says he wants to talk to you. No further dialogue, no conclusion, the quest completes. So it doesn't work for me. Steam version.
Did you purposefully write this comment in the most obnoxious manner possible or did you somehow stumble into peak obnoxiousness purely by accident lmfao
Anyway if the friendly concern quest is incorrectly triggering in your game, that's a vanilla issue and not anything that this mod can help you with. And if you're falling out of the conversation early, that means you don't have any of the necessary romance plot flags set in your game and that's also not anything that this mod can help you with.
The problem is exactly here. If you sleep with Merrill and then broke up with her, Isabela's romance gets in a bugged state. This causes the sudden finish of Friendly Concerns with this mod (and probably the wrong comment from Varric without it) and also prevents the threesome on A Murder of Crows.
PS - Varric ignoring Fenris apart from their verbal exchange feels in-character. I love Varric, but I hate that he almost always calls Fenris "elf" in their banter. It feels just disrespectful enough that I can see Varric doing what you have him doing in this mod, and ignoring Fenris entirely when it suits him.
