Nice, but there's a consequential issue with companion armours that improve with level up. If the main character (Hawke) doesn't also have one then "Night Terrors" becomes difficult when a companion needs umpteen good hits to defeat, yet Hawke's armour allows companions to take them out with a single blow.
Yup you alright. and never bring aveline on the mission or you will never finished it. To solve it unequipe your companion armor. The problem is because this armor still overpowered for vanilla difficult. And i don't have time for modding anymore. Thank for the report
Hello there. I'm replaying DA2 and loving this mod, thank you. This is The best companions gears mod for DA2 ever...
But I just found out something: When I couldn't find Carver's: Amell's Estate Guard Helmet in the gift box at Gamlen's house on ACT 1 (it suppose to be there in the gift box, right?), I tried to add it up using the waddi script, but the item window did not open when I typed in 'Amell' or 'Estate'. I did overwrite the wbaselist.gda for the waddi using the one from this mod. Further investigation reveals typing any item name in the waddi (not just the new item from this mod, ie: 'Parthalan' ) did the same thing. And when I revert it back to the waddi original's wbaselist.gda everything is working again (but of course I can't add items from this mod). Is this a bug or just me? Any solution?
I was upload the new version. It was fix waddi error when use my wdbaselist.gda and i'm sorry you can't get carver helmet if you use the original armor, you will get the helmet if you use the optional carver armor in optional folder. I don't find any match helmet for his original armor so if you have idea and a mesh for his helmet, you can tell me and i will create the helmet. Hope you like it. Have fun

And a question if i may: I'm playing with 'make the companion armor pieces appear by story progression' style for role-playing purpose. Since the error report on wdbaselist.gda I've been playing up to act 2 and all I can find are mainly the chestpieces (stores, chests). Where can I find the upgrade for boots and gloves in the story?
I just downloaded and opened the new mod, and found a new file zzzMerchant_core.erf in the base folder. I can't seem to find any documentation on it. Does this make the armor pieces appears in specific store(s)?
zzzmerchant_core is a file which make the item avaiable in a merchant. Before the last version i put the merchant core in every companion modcore.erf but now i put them all in zzzmerchant_core.erf just to make it more simple. Hehehehe You can get all item in black emporium at crafting store. And i was put a new rune called a guide for every companion upgrade armor. But you just can get the rune via waddi console. Just type guide or rune and use my wbaselist.gda you can get the rune.
All upgrade for boots, gloves, helmet, and weapon can be found on black emporium at crafting store in every act. Just check it out to black emporium everytime you start new act.

For tallis i will try to make it. Maybe not now because i'm on project age of wonder 3 mod and just finishing a new mod for dragon age 2. I will upload it soon, because i still need capture the screenshot. But don't be worry i will put her on my list. Oh ya i suggest you don't take aveline when feynier dream quest in the fade, she be really hard to be kill. So hard hahahahaha and if you wanna use her change her equipment. be carefull hehehehe
Hmm, i found something new, but it might need further investigations:
On several save-load sequence and cutscenes, Aveline's and Isabela's weapons sometimes missing and replaced by generic weapons (basic longsword and daggers). I am currently at "The Long Road" quest on act 2 which had several cutscenes of Aveline and Isabela and the quest auto-removes Aveline from party for several times. I don't know for sure which or what trigger this, I realized it because the weapon shape suddenly changes on cutscenes, and also after loading saved games. I'll post the screen shot on the images section of your mod.
I have had the SCWP mod uninstalled before using your mod, and i'm running your mods along with Runes Expansion Pack mod. Is this a compatibility issues or something new after latest update of your mod? Can you check on this? Thanks.
Hmmm... I don't know about that, everything work fine in my game i use rune expansion pack too, and it's really compatible because i create new uti file for all item in my mod and i put them in the merchant black emporium. And rune expansion pack doesn't use this merchant to spawn their item on the game. For cutscene my mod willn't effect it, because i just put new item. I was play dragon age 2 until end and i don't find any issue. But if you still get the issue, can you screenshot your override folder and this list of your mod used. Oh ya if you use a mod in your save file and then you uninstall it sometime you will get the crash because something missing in your save file. If can't upload the image you can send it to [email protected]
