Not sure why this isn't working for me. Tallis shows up as headless.
Edit: Actually... I took out this mod and now the DLC crashes because Tallis doesn't show up at all lol. I'm not sure if it's another mod or my vanilla game files being borked up but at least this mod lets me play the DLC.
this mod made me actually finally like tallis a bit! i always disliked how she didnt even look elven and just really uncanny seeing the actress's face in game.
Nice mod, but sadly it cause some glitches with her hair(I use Nightcrawler Hairs for merrill, also WyldTats and Skins). Also the mod makes Tallis daggers visible in the party and even in the prison, and that breaks the inmmersion.-
Hmm, that's odd. Did you try one of the optional fixes in the downloads section? If so, does the problem still happen if Nightcrawler Hairs is uninstalled?
As for those darn daggers, I'm not going to lie: in the (almost) five years this mod's been up, I never noticed them or realized just how lore-breaking they actually were. Oops. I meddled around for a few hours, and despite my really rusty modding skills, I actually managed to cobble together a fix that'll be uploaded as soon as I do a little more testing (expect it to come at some point in the next few days, give or take). Thanks a heap for bringing it to my attention. :)
I was having the same issue without any hair mods. It's to do with the renderer. If you're running DirectX 9, the hair goes transparent and the scalp is gray. DirectX 11, it's fixed.
So do I do anything with the "art" folder ? I got the option a file,I'm guessing that is the original skin tone, and I copied the "erf" file in the override folder alongside the armor and Dequinified erf's .
Are you sure the darker skin tone version C is compatible with the Tallis DeQunified mod? I can't get that mod to work with yours. I've tried renaming the files to change the load order but nothing works.
Argh, Murphy's Law strikes again! Could you describe your problem in a little more detail? Off the top of my head, it's probably because of some old textures overriding the new ones, which would be an easy-ish fix.
Thanks for the response! There's not much to say. The Qun symbol doesn't go away. I removed your mod to confirm that the DeQunified mod works and it does. But once your mod is added, that mod no longer works. I've tried renaming to change the load order but it doesn't work.
Ohhh, gotcha! I know that was a really dumb question, but (in my defense) I was super tired last night, lol.
Anyways, here's the fix:
In your "packages\core\override" directory, make a new folder
Rename it "patch" (make sure it's lowercase!)
Move the DeQunified file in there
Keep my file (in this case, option C) in the regular "override" folder
Why do this? Basically, this new "packages\core\override\patch" subfolder will act as the actual overriding folder (great job, BioWare! /s) and will therefore force the DeQunified textures to load before mine.
As someone has pointed out already, it's a shame her daggers become visible while she's wearing finery.
So, I figured out a dirty way to "solve" this problem as long as there's no definitive solution. It requires you to open the .gda file and set the 'WeaponOffset' field in the second row to a huge negative value (i.e. -999). This way you'll be moving her daggers far away from view, so it's like they aren't there. First I've tried to shrink the daggers by editing the 'WeaponScale' field, but it doesn't seem to have any effect.
This is so super late, but I'm stoked to report that this mod is now updated and (most importantly) fixed! The finery outfit is now dagger-less, exactly as it should be.
Thank you so much for your help, though! If I hadn't already poked around in the .GDA file and (somehow) figured it out through trial and error, you really would've saved my bacon here.
Just wanted to say: thank you so much for this amazing mod!! Installed it for my current playthrough, and it worked perfectly. Tallis finally looks like an elf and not like a human with pointy ears haha

Let me know how it goes!
