Some very nice overhauls here, but noticed a couple of issues, even though I have every mod required and made sure none overwriting any other, Hadriana, Serendipity and Elven Fanatic had black faces, like the chasind went overboard with their paints and like others have reported Feynriel was just a body and hair with invisible face. But on the whole, the npcs looked good.
I also kept having problems with Feynriel's face (ie..it was missing). To fix it, I used a program called GFF V4.0 Editor to open up the Feynriel.erf file and export the .mor files within the package to a folder on my desktop that I named Feynriel. The next thing I did was to open up each of the three .mor files and then click on the plus sign to the left of morph_parts, which expanded the menu. The next line down I saw that it was pointing to art\characters\playercharacter\elfmale\zombiezer0_mt_bas_em, which didn't exist, so I changed the path to the following art\characters\playercharacter\elfmale\mt_bas_em I did this for each of the three .mor files by selecting them and then saving them, which overwrote each file in the process. After that the next thing I did was use a program called Gibbed Bioware ErfPack to convert the three.mor files to an ERF File. I copied the Feynriel folder that I had made earlier to the folder where I put the Gibbed Bioware ErfPack program. The next step is to drag the Feynriel folder and drop it onto the Gibbed Bioware ErfPack program. once this is done, it will be converted to an ERF file, which you can then drop into the override folder of your game. Now everything works as it should.
I do not understand English well. Yes, and the year 2019 already. but still hope for help. when I try to put the mod on the betani. that all becomes black. only the eyes remain. and white spots below them.
Do I really need all the required mods to get Feynriel's morph to work? Every time I try he's just got a smooth gray face with no details. Not sure what I'm missing but help would definitely be appreciated.
EDIT: Yep, turns out adding everything except the tattoo mods fixed the missing textures. I gotta say, it was worth it, he looks much better now.
does anyone have KH Cosmetics mod ? a lot of time has passed since then (the blog has been deleted) and the mod is nowhere to be found except on some shady russian website that ultimately requires me to give my phone number in order to download the mod that I want (which is something that I understandably won't do)
I know it's kind of unnerving, somehow I've always managed to find seemingly lost requirement mods for skyrim without too much effort, but for dragon age now that's a whole different story. The modding community for this game is quite small I'm afraid and most mods have been made years ago which makes me suspect the mod authors have long since moved on (which I completely understand). Still, I've downloaded and installed this npc overhaul regardless and so far it seems to be working just fine. Even without the required KH cosmetics mod, I've only encountered problems with 3 male npc's (I'm still in act1 though) so I just deleted their data from the mod to revert them back their vanilla appearances. I suspect the KH mod only covers a handful of male npc's so I think It's fine if you install the overhaul anyway and hope for a friendly user to share the missing mod ;)
Thank you ill try it without the KH mod. but My problem is everyone's face turns black (More merideth and orsino) and they dont even have skin. its their face is the void and i thought it was beacause i didnt have the KH mod but maybe im missing a different mod
I see, well I'm no mod specialist but it could be you're missing some other required mod? I had the same issue with Gamlen and that was because I was missing the KH mod, but leandra and some other npc's seemed to work fine however. Try to install all the required mods (except for KH) and use the da chargenmorph compiler (if you don't already). That's the beauty of da mods, needing thousands upon thousands of required mods for the one mod you want to install which will undoubtedly result in mod conflicts
i found the mod i was missing is was the one of the face textures but everything looks fine now if i see any problem with the men i will be sure to let you know (im in act 3 by the way but im starting a new game so ill look at everything in act 1 and see) :)
Edit: didnt put anything in the chargenmorph (cause im lazy and i just want to use this mod for the npcs) and it works fine so thats good i guess saved myself a lot of time of copying and pasting.
Glad it works for you ;) still I would advise using the chargenmorphcompiler for future mods, no copy/paste needed, just one click and all your mod compatibility problems gone :D (trust me I'm also lazy xD)
Man I just stumbled upon this skin mod and I saw it was made by KH so I wondered if maybe this could compensate for her missing cosmetics mod. I put the gamlen overhaul back to see if it made any difference and as it turns out it worked! I think this is it, this is the missing mod :D here is the link man : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ufq152ljefsqbty/%5BDA2%5D%20Vanilla%20Face%20Skin%20Retexture.7z?dl=0
