Sorry I am replying that late. I am not aware of a way of making it that way as apparently the earring was part of the hairstyle itself. What I did was simply swapping what hairstyle model the character was using. Adding the earring to the vanilla hairstyle goes beyond my knowledge or skills
@rubi_rose Sorry for the delay on answering. I have been kind of busy. As Xiorai already said, there are other mods out there, which already have what you request and even Xiorai linked them to you. Still I encourage you to use mine. Anders is not the same without his earring! ^^
@Marcus22Khaar: I like the silver earring too, I just wanted to make a gold earring for story reasons (the Warden's gift). Oh and I think you're right, I never noticed that before. He seems to have green-brown eyes, it's hard to tell but the color is indeed different. In DAO all eyes colors are very dark, so I always assumed he had dark brown eyes.
You're welcome for the kind comment and I thank you for the endorsement . I indeed saw those tutorials, but did not have much time to start putting my skills into use, but I definitely want them to give a try, maybe not for NPCs, but Hawkes too. I know it was gold, but I must say I like it silver. In addition I think that a gold earring would not fit very well with his new eye color, besides being "blondy" If I recall well, originally he had green eyes, but again I might be wrong, because I use Dracomies amazing Redesigned mod and he might have changed that.
@Marcus22Khaar: Thanks for making the version 2! Using the GFF is better if you want to keep the exact same face and make subtle changes. marquiseondore and sarchiapozzo have made some tutorials about editing the morphs, if you're interested you can give them a look. =) Yeah I remember the gift in Awakening, it was a gold earring. Actually, I thought about retexturing this hairstyle to make a golden earring (… uh, if I find the time).
I don't need to use your mod because I did it long ago (this is the reason why I've asked LapisLazzuli to add an earring to "Duncan's hairstyle") but I always support a good mod, so… endorsed! (I was too lazy to update the hairstyle collection from my Anders' mod anyway, you kinda saved my time xD)
@Xiorai I've just updated the mod following your request. I had not tried yet to work with the GFF editor for headmorphing, but indeed the result is better. I hope you like it better, even if you're a sacrosanct to vanilla companion's faces (I think I am myself too ^^) surely you'll find this mod lore friendly. We even had to gift Anders an earring in Awakening, so why not keep it? Ah, because everyone just changed their appearances as if nothing had happened... Thanks again for letting me know about it and even telling me how to do it. Enjoy the new version of the file!!!

@rubi_rose: There are several mods that add the Awakening's hairstyle without the earring on Anders. I think there is no need to make another one.
- Tweaked Anders
- Anders Isabela Merrill Varric and Bartrand Headmorphs
- Freedom's Call - Stuff for Anders (with the hairstyle collection you can use every hairstyle from the game on Anders)
(Would it be possible to have an earringless Anders?)
