Not sure if anyone is still using this - but, here's a tip if you are and are getting the 'messed up face' issue. When you add anything under morph_model_params, expand it and select morph_model_name to make sure the box next to "zero-terminated/empty string" is checked. I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out what I was doing wrong until I realized that was the problem.
You're right, I didn't find any file to change "nostrils wide/narrow" and, very disappointing, I didn't find any file to change "mouth corners up/down" either. About the nostrils I presume they are two of the files that seem to produce no effect. Maybe the mouth corners are changed by the facial preset, it could be Leliana preset has got mouth corners up, all other folks in Kirkwall never smile xD.
Hmn. There are two values that still don't seem to be covered by the chart; "mouth corners up/down" and "nostrils wide/narrow." I'm not sure whether the mouth corners value still exists in DA2, but some of the presets (Leliana's for example) do seem to have a bit of that extra smile shape added. I know the nostrils wide/narrow exists because it's a slider value in the ingame chargen. Any thoughts on that?
Glad to know you was able to shave him xD About male presets I don't know: I didn't test them so much. Lately I have a fixation on female rogues and they don't have stubble problems... well maybe dwarfs ones do have
But Alistair does have stubble xD Finally I was able to fix the bug, thanks! In fact, it wasn't the stubble that causes this (that's why you can't remove it with the sliders in the CC). "hm_cgn_001" preset also has a key named "FaceM1 g_vFacialHairWeights 4" (the goatee). I set the strength to 0 and it's gone now. I started to play a little with your tutorial, for the moment I test different possibilities to see the results. It seems however that some parameters (from the shared folder) don't work on male presets (unless I did something wrong). Also, thanks to you I know that iris and pupil's waist are set with these parameters (I noticed there were differences on Tarohne). At first I thought it was the texture, and I lost a lot of time making different attempts at retexturing the eyes.
@Xiorai You could easily remove the stubble deleting in branch "2300 MORPH_PARTS" the 4th key numbered "3" (because they start from 0). Using the CC, you just set the opacity/strength to "0" in branch "23014 - Morph_Mat_Params", the key should be "FaceM1 g_vFacialHairWeights 7". As king Alistair would say: "Stubble is bad".
Thank you again for your reply. It's a good idea to use the "reset" button and compare Hawke with the edited preset. It will help to see if the facial structure becomes closer or not. It's nice to offer me your help, I'll try when I can and if I have problem I'll let you know. Thanks! Actually, I just want to recreate my Hawke because I always play with the same character and copying/pasting the mor code from a save to another can't do anything for the mirror that resets the face. That's why I want to make a preset of him. Plus editing a preset with the GFF allows you to improve a morph since you aren't restricted anymore with the sliders (I find them rather limited sometimes). Not to mention there are a lot of things the CC can't do (adding infected eyes, more tattoos, changing the eyelashes, etc.). It reminds me about a bug I wanted to fix: on some male presets who have stubble (the third for example), you can't remove it with the sliders (even when you put it to 0, there is still a little part of the stubble that remains). I assume it's possible to remove it with the GFF?
