Going to add, for anyone having trouble finding the mod that fixes this issue, it's this one. Extremely simple manual installation too. However, it doesn't appear to fix the other issue of magic spells strangely being really powerful if you're a rogue (as in, outdamaging everything you do in the early game, even with 10 magic).

For anyone who happens to be reading this and is encountering the "rogues missing archery" bug, it happens when you unlock Varric's Marksman skill tree.

It does. You don't want to install it in the Override folder where most of the mods go.

For anyone else that might comes across this mod in the future and might be interested in Sebastian's skill tree like I did, Sebastian's Royal Archer tree is not included in this mod. It can be easily tweak to include the skill tree with GDApp editor however

    1) download GDApp editor off of Dragon Age Origins Nexus
    2) download this mod including the optional follower page file
    3) extract the gda file from the optional follower page file(multiclass_pages_foll.gda)
    4) open the extracted file with GDApp
    5) add "213000" , excluding the quotation marks, in each cell under the $EA76C9A column
    6) save and install the mod, if this is done correctly Royal Archer tree will show up in companion skill page

I was seeking for a mode that allowed multi-classing for role-play purposes, as it makes sense for a mage Hawke to hide their magic abilities and also be a skilled warrior/rogue, just as shown in the Dragon Age II trailer. Yes, you techniqually CAN fight hostiles with your magic staff in melee combat, but that is uneffective and simply doesn't feel right, it's just not like you're an actual melee fighter. I was thinking of making a rogue with a few single target damage spells from the primary and elementary tree, nothing too special to not make it overpowered. However, I greatly underestimated the advantage granted by this cheat.

Since you're not using a staff, mage's spells are insanely overpowered and hit just like in the tutorial on normal difficulty, AND they also have no cooldown, meaning you can just spam AoE spells one after another to overkill a group of enemies (it usually takes only two to three of those if they're normal ranked). Winter's grasp has a 100% chance of freezing the enemy, although in my encounter they were not always made brittle, whilst Stone Fist sometimes can blow up an enemy to pieces out of nowhere, no brittle effect or anything required. Both of these spells deal quite a huge chunk of damage, comparable to Assasinate perk for rogue, at least at the starting levels. With Heal and Stealth and maybe Rock Armour you can basically go all around Lowtown, Hightown and Docks without companions throwing your opponents to the left and to the right. Heal also has no cooldown, as long as I'm aware.

Of course, you can just go for mage first, but then I imagine perks/skills from other trees would have no cooldown, including stuff like, say, aforementioned Assasinate. Plus it makes no sense why would you do that if your Hawke still carries a magical staff around with them, definetely not hiding the fact that they're mage.

In short, if you're a cheater looking to simplify the game, then this mode is for you, however if you're just looking for a multi-class mode for role-play purposes or any other reasons, then be warned, it is way too OP and causes a lot of disbalance in the game, making it uninteresting to play.

Увидела указанную страну в вашем профиле, поэтому пишу отзыв на русском.
Отличный мод, позволяющий комбинировать разные техники. Вписывается в хэдканоны о моей Хоук, которая скрывает то, что она маг. Большое спасибо.

So I love this mod already but I cannot get the optional files to work. My only other mod is a level 100 one I am wondering if anyone knows if this would effect the skill points/specialization points

    First -
    *STANDING OVATION*
This mod is incredible. It allows me to play the kind of character I always envisioned. (Why would a mage go around using magic and weilding a staff in public, if she knew it was likely to get her dragged off to the circle or worse?) My gal's something of an arcane archer or rogue-mage, who only wields a staff in rare circumstances, and only casts spells that aren't obvious. This works brilliantly in combination with Multiple quick-bar and weapon-swap mods! And honestly, I actually felt as if people who didn't know me didn't KNOW I was a mage, most of the time. The dialogue even supported me so strongly, that I suspect it was something that they'd planned, but never fully implemented. (Talking to Cullen in the Gallows, he says, "They're not normal people like you and me!" for instance.) Maybe that's just glitchy dialogue- still... works brilliantly.

I have but one regret: I used the extra points option, because I was afraid it'd take way too long to get enough points in non-mage stuff to actually be useful... and that was terrific at first. NOW though, I'm in late game, and my NPCs (who only have limited trees to choose from,) have maxed out all their trees, and are still leveling. So everyone's characters are blinking LEVEL UP! all the time. Point overflow becomes problematic. I think in my next playthrough, I'll use the normal version of this, and another mod that gives a somewhat smaller boost to points and specializations.

Anyway- THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS MOD!!!!!

This mod does not go in the override folder. If you do not have an "addins" folder, then make one. =) I had to do that, and it works just fine for me.

Found a rather massive bug here. I am a rouge with a bow and once I reached the Hawke's Key I found that the game won't let me use it. It turned into a bow like it was supposed to but it says I lack the archery requirement. I loaded back and sure enough all my bows said that. I didn't notice because the bow I already had equipped wasn't effected. I had that requirement red but so long as I kept it on it worked fine. I tried adding the Archery skill with the console but nothing worked. The ability was active and I can select powers in the tree but it was allow me to actually use a bow. A rather strange and debilitating bug to be sure. Any help would be appreciated.....
