I added a comment in the Omen comments section, but didn't know it was DLC. Unfortunately I can't change the models of DLC items since they are encrypted and it is in fact illegal to mod DLCs. Unless Blade of a Thousand Battles uses a model that is in the vanilla Dragon Age 2. Then I can perhaps do something.
So I like the texture work you did on this sword and thought I'd try my hand at hacking together my own weapon. I've been trying to follow some tutorials I found on the forums, but a lot of things aren't explained. In fact despite dabbling in modding some other games, I find myself rather at a loss of what I'm doing.
I believe I've got all the modding tools I need. I unpacked your .erf and got the item variations .gda and art files out. I exported the .uti files of a few weapons I wanted to borrow properties from as examples.
Now I've got gen_im_wep_war_two_iconic.uti and a couple others open in tlkedit2 and I'm trying to figure out what I'm looking at.
I also tried opening your item variations file in GDapp and likewise, I have no idea what any of this means, really, other than the modelpath seeming to be where in the .erf package the game should look for the textures.
The tutorials don't really go into explaining what's what. What defines this item as being a weapon, and which type of weapon? What model to use, and what textures?
Nothing wrong with threat on a 2-H Weap, specifcly in this game as 2-H hit more enemies and they are still in heavier armour than clothies. The mages in this game will always get aggro anyhow.

That's Funny, it seems everyone can have access to the DLC thanks to deda2drm.exe, slurpda2.exe, decrypt_all.bat, and slurpdakeys.bat.

Any chance to have a The Empress's Point retexture?
