    beeto;
    I don't know if you still monitor this site. I love your boots! A few shadows, but still usuable. I was wondering if you could make some recolors. A black and a white pair. You could use the mage and rogue start armor boots. I attempted this myself, but I do not have access to the actual tools needed for this. I tried using the programs I have and the free downloads, however, I failed miserably. Please consider. If you do not have time, I still love what I have. Thanks for your hard work.

    This certainly is one of the more creative (if not the only) solutuions to get isabelas costume or at least part of it wearable... And I'm not sure if this mod is still bring updated, but I think I found a glitch.

    I'm not too savvy with how these mods work but I managed to combine this with the Da2 trailer warden mod to get these boots on my rogue. Apparently the shadows still exist from the removed body of isabela. They cause a secondary shadow on the body of my rogue which ruined the combo. I was wondering Is there any way u know of to remove the shadows from the invisible body.

    Thanks for all your work on this mod,

    Since you managed to use Isabela's whole body model (and then make most of it invisible), would it be possible to get armor that we could "wear" that's just Isabela's outfit?

    I tried a method a long time ago where you had to edit your savegame but it was terribly clunky and I'm not savvy with that sort of thing at all.

    Would be awesome if so

    Did you unpack the erf file and redo the texture, or did you just edit Isabelas texture?

    The boot model is actually Isabelas full body model. I had to add the Punchthrough string to the mao file and change the names of the texture files that it referenced to place on this model. The textures are still Isabelas body texture, but I had to add an alpha layer and paint most of it black so that only the boots of the entire model would show.

    So, if your going to change the color of the boots, you need to unpack the erf file and edit the diffuse map then repack the mod with the edited texture. Also, the specular map will often have an effect on the appearance of the texture ingame. Desaturating the specular map will eliminate any color changing that happens as a result of that texture. If you brighten the specular map, it will make the boots shine more, like patent leather.

    @beeto:

    Is it possible to recolour the boots to black? I've edited the diffuse map but colour doesn't change ingame. Is it possible that the mao file is overriding the diffuse map colours? Thanks.

    @beowulfe thank you for the suggestions and instructions sir for changing bethany's warden's clothes to the original and 1st armor of bethany. i tried what you posted here, i first saved the game with bethany as a warden, but i used the zz_dae_debug console and modify party and bethany. as bethany is there, saved the game and i exit the game. i went to the gff4 editor as you said. after looking for my file saved game. there was one and only .dds file and that is screen.dds as i opened it, it said file not supported. so i tried the .das file(still my saved game nex to .dds) it opened. . . and so i went through what you said--------------------------------------------------------

    then it opens scroll down to savegame Party List open that and scroll down to Party Pool Members when that opens you will see Bethany party Member. Open up her Equiped Items and you will see her chest armor listed as cht_gwdb (wardens armor). select the line directly below that which also says cht_gwdb; you will see it listed in the editable box lower left side. Change it to read cth_beta (regular bust ) or cth_betb (large Breast). Hit the save button below the text box. Next save the game file that you opened. Beth's armor should now be shown and have the warden stats.Make a back up of your saved game file first (important). ------------------------------------------------------------------

    the last thing i did was the EquipedItems and so i opened it and i was looking for the part you said --------and you will see her chest armor listed as cht_gwdb (wardens armor). select the line directly below that which also says cht_gwdb---------- but i can't find that part chest armor listed as cht_gwdb anywhere. . .the 1st mod i used for bethany is Neb3 Topless Temptress Bethany.erfand i want to return that back.after that damn deep roads...

    thanks for the next reply =)

    Hmmmmm <img class=">I'm not entirely sure how to take that. Should I be insulted or laughing at it. Or was that just an odd way of making a request. Sorry, I'm not psychic when it comes to these kinds of comments. So I'm simply going to respond to that with a partial quote from a comment that Thandal made on a different file.

    [mod]If this sort of mod is not to your taste, feel free to pass it by in silence, (as I do). [/mod]

    That being said, I must point out that this mod does not edit the model in any way. It is simply an illusion involving the use of the textures and mao files. Well, there's more to it than that, but not much. What you are suggesting with removing the boots would require editing the model. Models can be extracted from DA2 and edited, but without the proper tools that BioWare has not and might never release, importing them back into DA2 just isn't possible at this point. Someone actually figured out how to do it with weapons and sheild, so I guess it's just a matter of time before someone figures out the format for the body models.
