    I assumed it wouldn't work based on the most recent comments, but as far as I can tell the mod works for me. I definitely noticed the eye colour tints were functional. For anyone still playing this game, give the mod a chance still.

      Worked for me too. This one is for the eye COLORS but you also need the vibrant EYES mod. Maybe the author meant to say required instead of recommended. Either way, great mod.

    Simply refuses to work. I installed exactly as recommended. Put the unzipped folder in my Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age 2/packages/core/override. Also tried in my steam/common/Dragon Age 2/packages/core/override. Nothing works. Both this and your other eye mod simply won't load.... (edit) I have no other mods installed but these 2 and they never work!!

    This mod does not play nice with the KS Hairs for DA2 mod.

    I have both installed but if I ever go to change my hair style I need to disable this mod first or all the hairs from KS Hairs will show as bald in the editor. I know this basically means im not even using the mod but i need the mod for my Anders mod or else he has missing facial hair texture so just thought id share since it took me so long to figure this out.

      Have you merged the chargenmorph.xml files? Anything that edits how character creation works have their individual files.
      The Chargenmorph Compiler, as it says, compiles all the chargenmorph.xmls into one file. Download it here (https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/971) run the application after extracting it all to anywhere that isn't in your DA2 folders, then click dragon age 2.

      I use both with no problem. you need to merge all your chargenmorph.xml files with Compailer always. game can only have one chargenmorph file otherwise they clash. And any mod that adds options to character creator has that file. if you search your override folder for "chargenmorph.xml" you will probably have multiple instances of it and that is what is causing you trouble.

    Maybe I didn't do it right but I don't see the skin colors in game... Nor do the eye colors?

    Is there any way you'd be able to separate the skin colors and eye colors into separate files? I love the skin tones from this mod, but I actually really like the vanilla eye texture.

    Just so you know--the link to download your Vibrant Eyes mod just takes you back to Nexus' main page.

      That's an outdated link, from when First and second game, were both on Dragon Age Nexus.
      Current Link
      Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors for DA2 at Dragon Age 2 Nexus - mods and community

      Here's the difference

      Old link
      http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2483

      Current Link
      http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/2483

      The important part is the ModID is unchanged, in this case
      ModID = 2483

      So for any old links, and there are many on Dragon Age because of the splitting into separate games, just add the ModID after the base path;
      http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/

      You can use copy location, (or url), on the old link to find the ModID, if you don't see it on hovering, and add it after mods/ to get the correct link.
      This is useful when old ReadMe's list the outdated link, as a requirement, it's easy to find, if it still exists.

    I love how you mixed the pigments in such a natural way, even for the more improbable colors. All the characters feel more alive and engaging -- a huge payoff for a seemingly small tweak. And darn if I couldn't stare into Fenris's eyes all day.
