Description:

This is a collection of 48 eyebrow & stubble colors, 46 new skin tones and 42 new eye colors for use in the DA2 character creator.


If you know my "Vibrant Colors" from DA:O you may ask why there are no new hair colors.

The reason for this is that Bioware changed the way certain colors render in DA2, which makes a direct port impossible.

And - in short - I don't have the tools / information and / or time to port them to DA2 at the moment.

However, I will continue to monitor the sitiuaton and hopefully we will see a return of the "Vibrant Hair Colors" soon.


Note that I left all stubble / eyebrow colors that went with my DA:O hair tints in this addon, as they should render the same way they did in DA:O.

Generally, I tried to maintain a somewhat believable and not too artificial look with all of these colors.

That doesn't mean fantasy has to die though, so you will find your share of "exotics" ;D

Pineappletree's Vibrant Skin Tones 1.1

These are all new made tones, ranging from radiant white to deep black.

Additional there are 5 "asian" tones (a bit more yellow), 5 "native american" tones (a bit more red)

and 5 "Drow" tones (dark blues).

Their ingame order is the same as in the respective preview picture you got with this package.

A collection of new, vibrant eye colors.

Some may be simillar to colors that ship with DA2 since this is mostly a port from my DA:O addon of the same name.

Installation

Should you have an old version of this addon, please delete it first!

Unzip and copy the folder "Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 2_0" into your [...]\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override\ folder.

Un-Installation:
=================

Just delete the folder "Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 2_0" from your [...]\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override\ folder.

Known Issues:
=================

This will most probably collide with any other mod that integrates new colors, morph presets, hairstyles etc. into the game.

This is because they come with their own version of the file "chargenmorphcfg.xml", which tells the game what options to show in the character creator.

To use multiple mods of this kind at the same time, you have to combine the data of their "chargenmorphcfg.xml" files,
by either editing the files manually or by using a program that does this automatically.
