took me forever to figure out but I was able to fix the oily shine look of black fur 03 variant by activating this mod with it http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/2431/?
I'm having a problem with the brown-furred version. It appears fine during the intro sequence, but when I wear it during Act 3 it doesn't show up. I'm just a floating head with no body (I'll provide a picture). D:
As somebody else mentioned the entire armor glows unnaturally, this is most apparent near some light source or in sunlight... even the leather and fabric parts have shiny oily film, i doubt that was intended.
Just came across your mod (will endorse shortly)- love it! Any chance you could update this version by changing the tint on the belt buckle and two ring on the back of the belt to look more like the trailer version? The buckle is too shiny, should have a more brown tarnished tint to it... Hope you can do this, would be much appreciated!
Also, I've tried your version 3 and must say it looks amazing, however there seems to be a problem with your specular map, Hawke looks like a spandex disco queen in some environments. I can add screenshots to illustrate if you want...
This v2 Mod file is one of the best. It looks very close to the original "Destiny" trailer armor.
However, the most annoying thing is the shine all over the armor. It looks like the metal part including the leather part of the armor has that glassy shine on it. Kinda weird.
Hopefully, you could get rid of the shine just like the Champion Armor Recolors mod by someone else (I got it on nexus but when I looked for it again, it was no longer here.. weird)
