When I was looking around in the DA2 files, seeking after some effects that'll enable you to look like Hawke in the trailer once he uses blod magic (glowy eyes) I found some interesting things. Things that I wont share with you guys and things that I will share, for example.. spells! :D
I've made a video who is about 5 minutes long. It'll show you how you can get those spells that I found, there are many more spells but often wont they work or have no animation. I've tried taking the arishok's spells/abilities but it didn't work that well.
Anyways, you're free to do what even you want with this video. You can upload it anywhere if you want to and you don't need to credit me for it, just credit Bioware for creating this great game. If you also want to sell this video you are free to do so.. though it would be rather silly if you did.
People have been asking me how you change spells/abilities effects. I wont tell you guys how to do it, but I'll tell you that it is easy and you do not need the toolset! It is not impossible without the toolset, just a simple little number edit and you're done.
I've found some cool looking effects that would most likely look sweet on staff/2h sword basic attack. If I'll get it to work correctly I'll let you guys know by uploading a video.. videos make things so easy.
!!!IMPORTANT!!!
You'll need to have the GFF editor! It's found here: http://social.bioware.com/project/1936/
