Can this be fixed? I'd like them to co-exist in peace but that's obviously not going to happen without intervention. I'm going to alert the author of the "Rot mod" to see if he can think of a solution as well.
Thank you for your post on how to adjust the speed as 2x was a bit too fast for me. I upped the speed just slightly, which makes so much difference! Thanks again.
GDApp is not column, it is an application that opens/edit .gda files. When you use GDApp to open the downloaded file, you will see columns and rows like in an excel file. At the very top row you will see labels -> search the cell with the label "game run speed" and make changes to the appropriate cells under that label.
GDApp can be found: http://social.bioware.com/project/755/
If anyone still having trouble editing the file, let me know what movement speed you prefer and i'll try to make the changes according to your preferences. It is best to play around with GDApp, possibly learn something awesome, and share with the DANexus community.
This is a nice mod, but is there a way to make an active aura so you can slow down for those tight corner to get that hidded chest or when ur in a quest and want to do some exploring?
If you want to edit the movement speed/combat speed to your liking. Please search and download GDApp and edit the downloaded file. Look for columns Game Walk Speed and Game Run Speed. I had them on 12 instead of 6. You can change to 9 (~50% speed increase) or any number accroding to you likings. There are columns for combat speed as well. After you editted the file, save to the override folder and play. You can change movement/combat speed for all characters. I wouldn't change combat speed because it will ruin the gameplay but you can if you prefer. Have fun!
too fast for my taste too. imo could be 1.5x speed out of combat and 1.3x in combat just an idea. anyways as it is now its way too fast and uncontrollable sometimes. but nice iniciative . hope you be able to release a not-so-fast version. thx for the mod anyhow.

Here is a similar mod that does not conflict with any other mods:
http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2359
It also includes a variety of speed options to choose from.
