There are three save games:
Kerrigan Hawke Level 20 Female Mage
Edward Hawke Level 28 Male Warrior
Marian Hawke Level 4 Female Rogue
Kerrigan and Edward are late game saves before the end of the game for those that want to use them for future DLCs.
Marian is an early save.
Kerrigan is a rushed save so there might be a few side quests remaining. She is a Force mage/Spirit Healer though no points have been placed in spirit healing. Most decisions made for Kerrigan have been aggressive but lenient toward mages. Kerrigan is friends with Anders and Isabella and rivals with Fenris, Varric, Aveline, Sebastian, Carver. Romanced Merril.
With the Edward Hawke save I took my time so I finished nearly all the quests so there is nearly nothing left to do unless you want to fight the last boss on a harder difficulty or check out late game armor and weapons. With Edward I went for the peaceful decisions and have full friend approval with all characters except Fenris who is a rival. Romanced Isabella.
