Hi its been 13 years, but for the people downloading and having this issue now I had the same problem. Just download the files as usual and place them in the character folder as stated, but also match it up so it looks like the other character folders. Meaning: Rename the "autosave_2" folder into "saves" and create a folder there that you calll "autosave_1" where you put the das file, story file, etc. inside. After that it should work :).
It is so kind of you to have uploaded late saves for those of us that want to play the DLC content only. Unfortunately I can't get them to work: "Save game couldn't be loaded because signature edition rewards are not installed"
Since I don't own such edition, I guess I'm screwed.
