Just a note to say thank you. I love Carver and that kind of forces me to play as a mage all the time. This mod allows me to develop Isabella like a rogue Hawke when I want to play a melee rogue. It brings me a variety. Thank you. :)
I really wish you would upload the version of this mod that does not remove restriction for companion trees. I'm on my 2nd and a half playthrough and I'm sick and tired of not being able to get the abilities I want until I'm pretty much finished with the game, and even then, still feel like I left so much good stuff out. Shouldn't be this way, imo. Final points should be like ''Uhm, well... now what?... Sure, I'll take that, that sounds alright'' Instead of: ''Oh, sweet, I can finally get that! I guess level 26 was the charm. Oh no! but I'm leaving that out... hope I get to level 28 soon enough'' ARG!
In any case, I'm using this mod together with the ''double xp mod'' (gives you 2 ability points per level) and I'm finiding this to be ridiculously easy, even on Nightmare. I like making Hawke the way I want him to, but I don't need Bethany to have elemental maxed out by level 5, having Fenris stagger everyone left and right, destroying brittled targets, and having Varric tear them a new one.
So yeah... will you please re-upload the mod that ONLY removes restrictions for Hawke?
I think there is a mod that allows you to get half XP for a level up. It requires mods that give you weapons and armour auto upgrade for yoy and your companions. I use them because frankly I want to test out as many abilities as possible without all the grinding.
hi pancea and healing aura regen is cut in half(from 100 to 50) ,considering they were already absolutely bad, this nerf is most likely unintentional by you ,now it only heal allies by 0.5% of their hp every second and the main problem is 10metre aoe which in dragon age 2, 10metr is equal to 1metr so it only heals if ally is just next to anders
Doubt anyone will see this since its so old but I cant get this to work. I got it to work the first time but i had too many conflicting mods and my game was kinda messed up so i deleted everything in my override folder and started over but now this wont work. Its in my override folder but in game still says I need certain levels and points in tree to get things, anyone know what to do? Edit- nevermind, I put mods in 1 at a time with it and it was a staff animation mod that was causing the problem oddly, no big loss tho
Thanks for this mod and don't worry about what the others say about unrestricting the spec trees. I agree that they are two powerful too be easily unlocked. After all, the game would be way too easy if there wasn't something you had to lvl up for.
You improved normal spells and made it easier to attain them, then didn't do either for the specializations.... wtf is the point of specializations now? they're like glorified artwork for your hotbar now??? Will not endorse until you release an option that removes requirements for specializations and doesn't change all the spells in the game to how you feel they should be.... D:< rawr!
