On-Topic: Nice mod, FF to normal sounds pretty sweet, adding a little more challenge to the game without becoming ridiculously difficult. I'll prolly use it for my 3rd or 4th playthrough.
Off-Topic: I don't think I'm the only one thinking this but... don't play on nightmare if it's too hard...
What I expect from hardest difficulty: - enemies have more health than you - enemies do more damage than you - mistakes are punished harshly (1-shot death) - situational awareness is a must - unless you play flawlessly, you should fail each and every single time
Believe it or not, some people like this level or challenge. At least on the first playthrough... don't think I can get myself to go through all that again on a subsequent attempt
Only reason I dont like nightmare. Friendly fire certainly is realistic, as a giant storm of fire should hit everyone in it.
However, realism plays little part in this game as the commong street thug has 10x my health. So when my firestorm tickles them and wipes out my entire party, its silly.
Not to mention if I use Fenris or Carver they butcher my party (2h FF really?)
So sadly I am playing on hard mode, which is ridiculously easy to be labled hard -_- just cause FF in nightmare is too high.
First of all, thank you for amazing mod I have one small request, can you increase the enemies damage on nightmare?or make them scaled above me thanks again
Great mod, thank you. The normal difficulty with friendly fire was exactly what I was looking for. Just one thing keeps bugging me, the damage you receive from friendly fire. The enemys in DA2 have much more health than my companions and where a bursting arrow kills one of mine on the spot, the enemy just gets scratched.
Is there a way you could make your mods compatible with the "less friendly fire on nightmare" mod? That would be awesome.
I love this mod, but I find that enemies still feature random elemental immunities. This is a feature of Nightmare difficultly only, so I was hoping it would go away when using this mod. But I'm still finding thugs immune to Cold damage for no good in-game reason.
Appreciate your work on this. I'd like to request "vanilla" hard difficulty with FF on. I know about the Recommended version of your mod, but as you've stated you've changed a few things. I would greatly appreciate Hard difficulty with no changes other than Friendly Fire on. Thanks!
No no no no, make harder mod! Im on nightmare and its actually not challenging even a bit, with a mage burning everyone around down, so here is my request: Make Harder Nightmare Mod : )
EDIT: Also AI enemy mages is just...they are campletely handicaped, only teleporting which is not able to modificate i think is good, but every each one has same spells, and those are 3 AOE (electric ball?) some SINGLE SHOT and immunite, that shield. Is it possible to give em alternative spells? I think more than 3 is impossible but replace old ones. If you could anything from that, I surely endorse you work ; ] baa I make 2 additional accounts and endorse it with em as well
I like friendly fire. But only for spells. I don't like when my 2h Weapon Hawke damages Isabela or any other melee.. This is just to hard and also not realistic. He should be able to swing his weapon without hitting his mates, I think .
Thus I'd also like a nightmare version that is how it is on vanilla, but with friendly fire off.. Or if possible with only warrior friendly fire off.
Are there any plans regarding this? It would be great and highly appreciated.

Any suggestions?
Normal with no friendly fire annoyed the heck out of me, but nightmare annoyed me even more. Just what I was looking for.

-Changes Hard difficulty into the exact identical difficulty as vanilla Nightmare? The only difference between the 2 would be friendly fire.
Thanks
