    Hi late here hass anyone having problems getting this mod to work i cant find the changeable preset. I installed the chargemorph file in the override from dragon age 2 then open chargen morph to compile and my files directory are right. Also im just starting to play dragon age 2 so after the first fight i go to character creator cant find the editable preset.

    I also had issues with this mod but it turns out it works fine, I had the Iconic Hawke installed from Unique Face Textures for Companions and it was stopping this change from working. I was able to get it working by removing the file IconicMale_Files.erf and then changing my Hawke then putting the file back in. I assume this would work for the female Hawke with the file IconicFemale_Files.erf as well. Just an FYI if anyone else was having this issue. Thanks for the great mod!

      THIS FINALLY MADE THE MOD WORK FULLY! thank you. I played female Hawke and had to remove those files. for everyone.. if you use Unique Face Textures for Companions, the location of files you have to remove is

      Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override\Unique Face Textures for Companions\Companion Retextures\Default Family\Iconic Hawke\   and delete both erf files in there

    Found a solution, though maybe just a bit late for those who was interested..
    First of all, if downloaded file doesn't work "as it is", then probably there's some other chargenmorph file from other CC mods (for example, like optional files from Unique Face Textures).
    But actual solution to this is quite simple - you may need a CharGenMorph Compiler from DA:O utilities. Download that, unzip, run the compiler, select "Dragon Age 2" -> OK and then (after making sure that the Path Configuration is set correctly) just click the "Compile.." button, so all detected xml files get merged together with bad references (if there're any) removed.
    Hope that'll help

      FOR THE RECORD, THIS STILL WORKS IN THE YEAR OF OUR MAKER 2024!
      I downloaded this mod and for the life of me could not get it to work, then I did the above and it worked! I was worried it wouldn't because this mod is my only changemorph, but it still fixed whatever the problem was!

    I used  CharGenMorph Compiler as always for mods that add new chargenfiles for me. the mod works for me and I can edit preset Hawke in terms of hair and features, but I can't change eye color or makeup it just doesn't react :(

    EDIT:
    It was another mod causing issue. makeup/eye sliders work after I removed Iconic Hawke files from Unique Face Textures for Companions mod :)

    I downloaded this mod today and all I got was a chargenmorph file. That's not enough for this mod to work.

      It is. All you have to do is open this file, open your chargenmorph, and copy paste. It should looks something like this:
      <heads>
              <human_male>
                     <resource name="hm_iconicmale_nomark.mop"/>
      <resource name="hm_iconicmale.mop"/>
      <resource name="hm_iconicmale_nomark.mop"/>
      <resource name="hm_iconicmale.mop"/>

                  (all the rest of the heads here)

      This will add two presets identical to the iconic ones that you can edit.

      UPD: Btw for anyone installing, you can't remove his wrinkles. I have several skins installed that were supposed to make him look youthful, but it looks like they are overlayed somehow.

      Thanks for the reply. I did finally get the mod to work last year when I made the post.

    For anyone saying the mod doesn't work, try sliding the presets meter all the way to the right. The two default presets are at the end there and they are editable.

    Has anyone found a way to make this mod actually work? I would really like to edit the default Hawke preset but after downloading this and dropping it in my override folder as per the instructions all of the options are still greyed out. I don't have any other chargenmorph mods that could be conflicting with it so I'm at a loss.

    This doesn't work for me and I have no other mods installed except for this one. Load of nonsense as I don't want to be a female, and I don't want to keep the wrinkles on the male hawke
