It just doesn't seem to be working for me unfortunately, not sure what else I can do as I followed the instructions and also made sure there were no conflicting files.
Hi! So about that known issue (presets dont have their own face shape, they all have the default face shape. This is probably due to a lack of .mrh/mop files) - i have this exact issue. How exactly do you fix it, where does one get these files?
This is an old comment but hopefully it may help save someone the ten minutes I just lost-- the 'override' folder is in the game's documents folder, not the game installation files themselves.
I tried using it, the default Hawle preset being the third selectable and I was able to edit it just fine. But my family is the dark skinned preset instead of the default, how do I change this? EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out. I had to take the Optional File out of the override and instead put in the Default erf file.
So this is my first time using this mod, and I was able to customize my Hawke nicely. However, it seems to be having some strange effects on the family. Bethany's hair wasn't her default, though that may have been because I had all her hair files in one place. Yet now Gamlen doesn't look like Gamlen. He has a ponytail and his face is different. I pulled out the optional files folder but that changed everyone in the family to different faces and hairstyles except for Gamlen, who still didn't look like Gamlen. It would seem that the "optional" files isn't exactly optional if it changes everyone's default faces to something entirely different, and I still can't figure out what's up with Gamlen. This is the only mod I have that changes people's faces, and it looks like I may not be using it after I finish this playthrough if it gives these issues.
I know this is very old but hawkes family is special in that certain sliders actually change the way your family looks, to closer match your players appearance. The only way to get rid of this is to download morph files for your family and leave them as is, only issue with that is they won't age
Does anyone know if there's a way to get the basegame family morphs linked back up to the initial head presets? I love using this to fiddle with the default Hawke, but my own dark skinned Hawke is looking hella adopted right now :D
