hi -i did exactly as corehound said and more but it still won't work - i also don't get how to work with these 3 files per tat - i wanted to have cem09 - so i copied the 3 files in the override folder, renamed them to uh_tat_h01_0t, uh_tat_h01_0t_l2 and uh_tat_h01_0t_l2, then i replaced the first three entrys in my tattoo section with these file names but it still won't work - and what's also funny - theres no change in the actual tattoos but shouldn't there be some of them missing since i replaced them? it's a real pain - can anyone tell me where i went wrong? thx!

i just made a new install - renamed the first 9 cemm tatts - the mainfiles - to the names given in the chargen.xml - only the flower tatoo shows up - thats the one i wanted to have but there is still no logic to it - i erased number 9 and gave it's name to another one - the flower tatoo is still there - nothing changed although i deleted the textures - how can that be?!

i just deleted all of them - but nothing has changed in the char-creator - is this information cached somewhere?? i have the impression that i only can undo this by installing fresh..

I like the tattoo's and have tried what you said to do in the decription, but for some reason, the one tat I put in seems to overwrite all of the default tats, and I do not understand why?

Can anyone help please? I really wanna use these new tats.

You need to create a chargenmorphcfg.xml file for this mod. Do your homework it is easy

I have never been able to get a custom tattoo working in DA, no matter what I've tried. Unfortunately, I really like uh_tat_cem006 but I can't figure out how to get it to work with a Dalish female. The tutorial you linked to has four slots for a Dalish elf, but there are only three files for each tattoo. Do I need to rename one of the files twice?

Help? I swear, custom tattoos are the bane of my DA existence.

I love the images I've seen on the site of the tattoos, and getting bored with the same ones included with DA:O, and am working on my skills with the toolset so I can customize when and how I want. However, I'm unaware of how to edit, well, anything in the chargenmorph.xml files. I know what XML is and what it does, and, not to long ago, could even write them! Totally forgot how though; I've got a manual here somewhere about it. Anyway, I have a question: how do I open a pre-existing character's file in the toolset so I can work on the face? Like my saved game's character? I only know how to start a new one. Hopefully I can figure it out on my own. Really wanna use the NWN logo tat! Keep up the good work!
