Does this mod not change the dog from Awakening? Or will it change after some time?

EDIT : my error was using only an optional file which I thought would alter all mabari including the player owned one.  The optional files alter only the other NPC mabari. You need one main file to change your own mabari.

With the most "recent" version of Improved Atmosphere (v2 with Fixpack 6, Dec. 2014), the GDA files were changed,
to a point that the fix added by icthulu here (Misc. files) does not work.

Suggestions in the posts here also did not work.
Example : removing all .GDA files from Improved Atmosphere did nothing.

Result : in a current save, even changing zone, the "dog" is unchanged (vanilla). EDIT: again, I was wrong. See first sentence above.

Can you give more details of your error I'm editing each AI file and I don't find anything in any GDA that interferes with this Mod... I even created some Wolves according to the variants that are in the comics and lore and they work very well.PS: I wanted to ask the original creator of the Mod for permission to use his work in my project. I will of course credit your work as intellectual property that belongs to you. The different wolves are very beautiful.

When I load my save, my dog is 100% vanilla. (I used the wolves with war paint version of this mod*)
All my others mods work.  No error message nor crashes.

As for the conflict with Improved Atmosphere, see the Miscellaneous file provided by the author and the posts in this thread.

      * Optional file used: NPC and Ambient Mabari to Wolf replacer - 1-94 (all two types of wolves with war paints)
      - Game version : most recent Ultimate edition.
      - Load order : the only folder after Wolf... is z_TerraEx_Silverite and the file Wardens_of_Ferelden.erf

I think I figured out my issue :
      - the optional file I used is designed to change *other* Mabari in the game, but not my dog.
      - I probably need to add a file that changes the player owned "dog".

Tested. You need a main file (to change your "dog") and optional files change the other (NPC) mabari.

Nb: though the optional file Dog War Paint replacement 1-94 did not work (supposed to make warpaints work with your mabari).

      IIII have a strange problem...
I like this Mod and it works wonderfull.
      Until i enter Dane's Refuge.
And now my Wolf is  totaly orange without texture.
In all Saves i have...even the older.
      Unistall/reinstall, reenabled don't work.
only way, i must delete the Wolf File.
But a complete new instal of this Mod are don't work too.
      Thats realy odd.

Thanks, I liked these wolf textures.

Not sure if people still playing but for anyone that still couldn't make this mod to work, or having the "white mabari" issue, try this solution.

Simply rename the extracted folder by adding "z" into its name. e.g Wolf Mabari into zWolf Mabari.

Uh, one problem after another... two of my experimental character's mabari's turned into a solid gold wolf o-o I kinda think i know why though since i have these legion of the dead god mod accessories I had warpaint on the two of them at the time when i installed the wolf mod. And using those runscript commands just does nothing. Help? Soon I hope? o-o
