For an alternate solution to the mismatched weapon/icon, see the optional Lore Duncan's Dagger file from Better RTO Items, which takes the approach of swapping the inventory icon for one that matches the straight edged blade.
I have added Better RTO Items compatible versions of the blade-changed-to match-the-icon file, to reflect the various material edits in that mod.
On the More Believable Fade Duncan download page, under Miscellaneous files, there is a version of that mod that should be 'compatible' with Iconic Duncan's Dagger:
More_Believable_Fade_Duncan_Iconic_Dagger - All versions of More Believable Fade Duncan equipped with Oathkeeper/The Rose's Thorn; that dagger's model matches the icon of Duncan's Dagger from Return to Ostagar. Has not been tested in-game.
And even with the original versions of the Fade Duncan edit, there is no 'conflict' as such with Iconic Duncan's Dagger, since there are no overlapping files; the two mods would work together fine. Fade Duncan will just be equipped with a different dagger than 'real' Duncan. That's not really a conflict (where two files edit or replace the same thing), it's an inconsistency from one instance of a character to another.
this mod is just great. Can you please make a mod so that it replaces the icon of Duncan's sword? the most suitable icon for this sword is the icon Vigilance
Hello, I was wondering would this also replace the dagger on duncan as well when you first see him in your origin story and so forth or would I have to go in dragon age toolset to equip him with it?
