Anyone know a possible reason for the chest to disappear? The chest was there after i left Flemeths hut, but after i left Lotherin the chest wasn't at my camp anymore. Incredibly annoying considering i put all that starter dlc gear in there.
Edit: Alright i just finished up at Redcliffe and now the chest is back at the camp with all my loot still in there. I'll leave this comment here so no one else gets the same scare i got.
This mod is a .dazip file and can only be installed via DAUpdater.
If you install properly and load into camp, go to a random location and return. It will be sitting on the other side from the entrance, infront of the alcove of trees.
The DAUpdater program is found within the bin_ship folder. The "\bin_ship" folder (and the rest of the game program files) are located under: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games..." It may say "Steam" instead of Origin, depending on your provider.
I still cant get it i just get a winrar when i download this mod and any others and when i extract it get a folder named content whit other 2 folders named addins and packages whit archives .erf and .cif and i try to convert them to dazip each of them and use the daupdater but says that is an error and i dont know what to do thre is no BaseChest.zip to convert to .dazip
Still seems to work as of this date [16 july 2014 ] - and works with other chest add mod. Now packrat me doesn't need to use the vendor npcs as storage heh. Will update shortly with details eg item capacity limit observed with other chest, reliability and such.
This is the best mod that I've ever installed that doesn't include weapon, armor och OP-items. A shame that Bioware didn't think of this first, but who cared. Works great, and I've never had any problems with it. Awesome work.

Every .zip files that we would come across that contains only the Content folder and a Manifest.xml file, is actually a .dazip file.
What you need to do is to enable the File Name Extension view in your Windows browser, then manually change the .zip file to .dazip. In summary -
Change BaseChest.zip to BaseChest.dazip, and voila~!
BaseChest-61.zip Simply right click, and rename it to ( BaseChest-61.dazip )
