Unfortunately it uses the same texture across all maps, which is why I tried to keep it balanced to make it work in various lighting conditions. But I agree it doesn't look the best in every map.
So I did some testing, but it seems that there is some other file or setting that's forcing transparency on the clouds texture that I'm unable to change and I don't know where to even start looking for that.
A little late to the party but whatever (: Accidentally found out that there's a clouds.gda (clouds_gxa.gda for Awakening and probably similar files in other modules) inside 2da.erf (packages\core\data and packages\core_ep1\data respectively). These GDA have cloud density settings as well as some other settings, like sharpness and color for different locations and time of day. So, fiddling with those might be worth it (or not, you never know) for anyone dissatisfied with the current clouds look. Just export the files with pyGFF and then open for editing with GDApp.
A very beautiful mod, but it taxes my graphics card (which is quite a beast, RTX3060) a little too much near the end of the game. Strange, it works without trouble until about start of the Landsmeet. After that I've had quite some lag. Disabling this mod seems at least to remove the lag. Still, as I've said, a beautiful mod and my endorsement stands. :-)
Oh, that is too unfortunate. I played through the game with the mod enabled on my setup which has a weaker GPU and I didn't notice this issue, but then again this game is so unstable on modern systems that there could be any number of things causing the problem. Just to make sure, did you try using the smaller file size version of the mod and are you using the 4GB patch? These could alleviate the issue. Though Denerim is also notoriously unstable and the game can get wonky on multicore systems, so one temporary fix could be changing the CPU affinity by going to Task Manager>Details>right click on the game exe>Set affinity and then reducing the enabled cores until the lag issues get improved (this has to be done every time you launch the game, though). I've used this method before to get through a few finicky areas. If none of these help, then removing the mod is still the best option.
And thank you for the kind words despite the issues!
I am testing with the smaller files now. Yes, my game exec is patched with the LAA. But I also suspect that your mod isn't necessarily the cause after all; there is another mod in my set-up which I think actually may be the culprit - a mod that aims to improve graphics all over.
The only texture I found was the one for the clouds, which is what I edited for this mod. I don't think that skybox edits can be done easily, which is probably why there aren't any mods that do it, unfortunately.
Thanks! There's actually a mod called "Dragon Age Origins Unofficial Remaster" here on the nexus that retextures a lot of the game world, I'd recommend checking out that one if you're looking for more!
Not everything, but a lot of noticeable stuff, like clothes and armor, creatures, walls, roofs, doors, props and plants, among others. Everything is also neatly ordered into separate folders, so you can choose which parts you want to keep. It's definitely worth checking out. There's also a mod called "Elven Scenery" that replaces the Dalish props with Inquisition ones.

Get the Deband.fx on Reshade and disable "standard deviation" in its settings.
It'll get rid of sky banding and make these clouds look softer.
Uploaded some shots in the images for comparison.
Thanks to the mod author for making me pay better attention to the skies and coming up with this.
Now you have to do all the rest! floor, tree, wall and many more
