Cool, my Ser Gilmore party member needs a shield with some good cold resistance that crazy Hermit and elven Keeper love spamming cold/blood mage spells...
Man, this is shield is awesome, a little overpowered for the beginning of the game, since 26 str isn't exactly a high requirement, but oh well, i hope it will even out later on. My only problem is the shield is... bland, there's not cote of arm or anything, just a chunk of magical metal strapped to my wrist. If you added like a griffin or something onto the shield, to go with the warden thing, it would be the best shield in my opinion. I know this is suppose to be from Diablo, but bland is bland no matter how you slice it.
Cheers dude not bad, kaerar i think the lower level items have better shades rarther than dragonbone and red steel, ugly ugly colours, i would have thought that is the reason as to why its tier 4

to answer your question about how the on hit works it is when your weapon(sword,axe,dagger,etc,etc,etc) hits. i had a shield that said +4 damage to darkspawn on hit and the bonus damage showed up when my sword hit. I take back what i just said... its on shield hits since my sword damage didn't get the damage from the lighting under it.
