I have downloaded it because I love hedgehogs, but must admit I am unlikely to use it save perhaps the fade sequence for 3 reasons:
I do not want to kill them in the human noble origin, I already feel sad killing mabari when required (especially the wild ones in da2 or inquisition...like why bioware...why?)
It is (understandably) high poly and Denerim already crashes enough for me without adding these cuties as random citizens, though I wish I could.
Rats sadly match the ambience of most of the areas better, like rats in the alienage makes more sense and adds to the derelict feel, as opposed to hedgehogs which would make it seem like everyone in the alienage has a pet with all the cats and dogs also milling around. (I wish they could all have pets but sadly most of them are struggling to feed themselves in origins let alone a furry friend)
Still I must praise you for the fantastic job on making such an adorable, realistic and detailed hedgehog. And thank you for giving me such a cute hedgehog face to look at when I checked the mod pages today. I may or may not be mentally booping this little guys nose...ok I am...repeatedly XD
That would be great! But personally, I don't mind putting it in for the circle and removing it after. As long as I don't go to Denerim with it I don't think it would cause any problems if I forget. Even if I did get to Denerim with it it wouldn't be to big a deal. If I noticed the hedgehogs in Denerim I would just save, look at and mentally boop the hedgehogs, quit and remove the file before reloading the save. If I didn't and Denerim crashed, well I already save obsessively in Denerim because of constant crashing, so I wouldn't lose much, just go "why...oh yeah!" remove mod and reload last save.
I have to overhaul my mods for my next Origins playthrough anyway, too many little problems piling up in my overrides. I plan to create a "NotDenerim" file that has things (such as this) I can safely remove for that area and probably should remove for that area.
