I put the 3 UTI files in the override folder like I'm supposed to but when I fire up the game my character comes up invisible except for the head. I have used this mod in a previous playthrough and it worked just fine. I uninstalled the game a while ago and i recently reinstalled it but now the files don't work the way they should and I'm very confused. I also put the armor mod required in there too. I've ran the game with one or the other in the override folder and both but again nothing but my character being invisible. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? (I also use IA but that never stopped it from working the first time)
A very later reply, but might help someone else. Cause I think the original poster with the issue might have dropped both unzipped mod folders separately in the "override" folder, instead of merging them. I'm no expert so I could be wrong, but it sounds like all the other mods I've downloaded so far that needed merging.
This is what's on the Description page.
Replaces the default dalish armor models with tmp7704's armor to make them more visually distinct from human armor. This simply changes the appearance of dalish armor and does not give it to any NPCs that don't already have it.
So if I'm reading it correctly. It sounds like you have to merge this mod with tmp7704's mod (found in the link above, which I got from the description page) and overwriting any files inside tmp7704's mod. So now you have a tmp7704's mod with 3 new replaced files.
Also, unless the mod has a file that is picky, you can probably even rename the folder to whatever you want after the merge.
Idk if merging helps, but you don't need to do that. They should work either separated or when you put required mod's folder into this mod.
What is wrong is a file got fucked up in the process of installing many mods - documents->BioWare->Dragon Age->Settings->AddIns (idk how to prevent it)
You can delete it and run the game, new file will be created. However, you would need to reinstall any .dazips or re-load DLCs if you had a bug that prevents them from showing up.
I'm getting the same issue as others, where the armour doesn't update and remains the default light armour, even when it's the only thing in the override folder. The fix with the Inquisition dalish armour mod doesn't work either.
edit: Figured out the problem: there's a UTI conflict with the Icons Project that prevents the armor (but not boots and gloves) from replacing the defaults (which presumably could also affect other armour). The only fix I could find was to unpack the ERF file, so that the individual UTIs can be either overwritten or removed.
For people looking for a way to get it to work, go on the Inquisition dalish armor mod page and look through the comments, someone found a fix, but you need both mods for it to work :)
For those who are having a problem, it seems that Improved atmosphere conflicts with this mod, causing the other elves not to have the dalish armor replacement.
This isnt working. I put the files in the folder but they dont show up in game. I tried it with no other mods and still its not working. I had installed Dalish Mage origins, and subsequently removed it. Wonder if that is causing the issue?

This isn't a request, I was just wondering if you ever thought about replacing the female model of Ancient Elven Armor with tnp7704's Dalish Armor model?
So I have a different problem than Aynde: the armor displays fine on my PC, but is invisible on Tamlen. This is a brand new save, so I don't know if it's like that on other NPCs yet. I tried Aynde's workaround, and while it got the armor displaying again, it's back to its old vanilla appearance. :( I have no idea why it would work on one male elf and not another, unless its related to NBAIO (I use "slim elf" on my PC and "muscle elf" on Tamlen). Will play around with NBAIO and see if anything changes.
ETA: Okay, I got it working! For Tamlen and my PC, at least. I ended up copying the files I got from here directly into my Global/Items/UTI/Armor, Weapons (Default) folder in IA. If I see other Dalish NPCs with the same problem, I'll try copying over the altered files (_cur, _rou, etc)
I don't know if you still need help but just in case I'm gonna quote what Aynde (ty!!) wrote:
Put the three files you got here in the Custom folder of IA, then click to rename. At the end of the string after the _dal, put _cur. Suddenly, Tamlen is wearing our nice DA2 style armor! Stats look the same. Obviously, you'd have to copy these again and add all the different strings (I think there are six or seven defined ones, if you check IA) in order to get ALL Dalish armor to reflect this lovely bdsELVEN I mean't elven heaven.
The strings in total are 10 (I don't know if all are needed): _pla / _drag / _dhid / _insc / _wing / _rein / _hard / _rou / _cur / _leth Don't forget to also add the original file without renaming it!

Edit: The boots works aswell.
