Oh, but this is a .zip, *how can I install this?* I tried to delete .zip and write .dazip an installing with daoupdater.exe in bin_ship, but it didn't work. Extract and copy to override folder didn't work either.
... Maybe I have to finished Fragments of Ferelden, then it works extracting, and extracting again the new .zip and coping it to override folder? I was looking if I had a new campaing named The Broken City.
hey, sorry, this is a super late reply but here you go: 1. extract the zip file, once extracted you'll find the dazip inside 2. put the dazip through the daoupdater
that's it!
and yes, you must download and finish 'fragments of fereldan' before playing this mod, since it is the prequel. you can find a link to 'fragments of fereldan' in the requirements tab, under the description.
alternatively, i recommend using the mod manager to download any mod, which you can find here: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/277
What like about this mod is, its different and works with another mod. FoF and TBC are two of the new lands I really like. a lot. I still have them and over 88 mods plus installed in my da updater mod manager. There are a couple of others involving the character going down a hill and in the end getting together with other two girls one named Sarah to, well, you get the idea. But for this plot, I thought was a good play out scene for a mod or DLC.
I know Koepplin wasn't the original maker of this module but I'd like to thank him for saving it from Bioware and uploading it here. Really great story with some interesting boss fights and pretty impressive new areas. I hope Mengtzu had fun with his DA2 modding because he made something special here and it's a shame he never made a third part. Def recommend this for anyone playing through standalones 10+ years later
Maybe I don't play enough MMOs (more like none). Tamerlane's fight doesn't make sense. What are the nexuses? How am I suppose to survive this death pulse thing? Bunching up doesn't do anything. My mage gets locked up and gets one-hit-killed at the beginning of battle. (In fact, every revenant enemy just chases my mage so I had to just kite them while everyone else killed them.) Part of me thinks keeping her alive is is key to keeping the party alive during the mitigation. But...I don't know how to keep her alive.
Agh, is there anyone out there who has the bc_teleport_scripts.zip file that's mentioned in the crash readme file? There is a known bug where the mod crashes when you transition areas and the included txt files mentions using some additional teleport scripts that the mod author made to circumvent it. However, the zip file containing said scripts is not included in the download anymore. I have nowhere else to ask. Help!
Hey, first of all thanks for the re-upload. I'm having trouble fishing. After the fight with the spider, my paralyzed companion unfortunately remains permanently frozen. ?Is this a bug or is there a special way to resolve this? Thanks for the help.
Thanks for uploading this. Particularly because I had the problem with crashing during area transitions, and I had no clue about the crash workaround that's included in this download. I was ready to abandon the mod.
Just finished the module. I think it is fun but a bit padded, good but not as good as Fragments of Ferelden.
A played on Heroic Nightmare and the bosses seem to always be some variation of spongy, with a ton of regen added on top. I get that the author wanted to add more spice to the boss battles but most of them feel cheap and boring after you realize that the same gimmick of regeneration and burst damage is repeated over and over. I appreciate the effort but just as with Classic Week before it, the mod just ends up feeling cheap and wasting time under the pretense of being difficult, it feels like the author is trying way, way too hard to make it "challenging" (like having Lleam spawn a billion shades to try and kill you).
The story is okay, but it did not grab me as much. Honestly the entire setting just doesn't feel that interesting. The story drags on and on, and it is such a slog to go through.
The reactivity to your decisions and actions that was a highlight of Fragments of Ferelden is also unfortunately absent here to my knowledge.
There is a hint at the end that maybe you can romance some of the characters you meet in the story, but I honestly have no idea how to do it or if that even is a mechanic in the module, there's not a lot of clarity there.

(sorry for my bad English.)
