If i can offer some criticism that's CONSTRUCTIVE, and has personally helped me with making NPC face morphs?
there are proportions to consider when designing an "attractive" face. the distance from the bottom of the nose to the tip of the chin should be a little bit more than the tip of the nose to the top of the eyebrows. Your Zevran has a very weak jaw, the bottom "third" of the face is much MUCH smaller than the middle "third", which is what is giving people an Uncanny Valley vibe from it.
and be careful with that nose. I've made a LOT of face morphs with Elf Update installed, and you really have to make sure you're fighting the nose shape to make sure it comes out good looking. I'd suggest taking the bridge back a little and extending the tip a tiny bit. I'd also suggest turning up the percentage on the "Zevran face shape" slider- maybe by another 10% or so.
the textures you chose are good, and I like the arch of his eyebrows. with some tweaks, you could have a really good face morph.
You're welcome! Don't give up on this hobby. Posting a mod of any kind sounds scary af (I've made 89364952 face morphs for my personal use but never posted any of them, because of the number of mods required, lol), and this hobby is entirely self-taught. :)
Nicksnerg is Russian so Zevran's facial proportions are sort of Russian, you could say. A lot of Eastern Europeans have small/short chins. If you're Russian and you look at Russian faces all day long then it's only natural that Nicksnerg would make a Russian-looking Zevran.
I'm mostly of English descent and have roundish features with a "button nose" according to my mom (who has sharp features; she's of English and French descent) so naturally, every character I make for every game ever will invariably have roundish features, lol.
I'm not criticizing you, Nicksnerg! Your Zevran looks great.
I got a problem with the hair, it's glowing white for no reason.. i tried the third Zevran, same problem.. and then, i tried the vanilla hair version of Zevran.. the hair is missing ! Did i do something wrong ?
Also, the skin is more darker than in your pictures.. is there in tint skin missing ?
I personally like his face, but I'm having trouble with the eyelashes. They're black stripes. Did you use an eyelash mod for him? His hair is also glowing white, so I've downloaded the Witcher hair and am going to see if that fixes it. Aside from that, I think he's pretty. Don't let the haters stop you.
Belated thanks for this tip... and thank you nicksnerg for this morph. I've tried a few Zevran appearance mods for the updated elves, but I like yours the best so far!
