Is it possible to make a mod that switches you to walking automatically upon entering a smaller indoor space such as chantry or an inn?

tbh that sounds like a nightmare to mod, I actually don't think that would be possible... great idea though

Super easy fix for MABARI MADNESS (works for most combat speed altering mods as well I think)
I will not upload any files.

Grab the GDA mod. (for editing GDA files)

Open the GDA file with the GDA download.

    [TOP LEFT]
Switch it from "designer" to "editor"
Tick the box that makes "delete"............... delete.

Click the BOTTOM FAR LEFT column box for DOG.
DELETE IT (the entire row should disappear)
    then, click FILE (top left)

    SAVE

    Your dog should work.
Mabari will not be slow, in fact I think he is somehow the fastest party member which makes sense. I use him to cover long distances. SUPER immersive.

ALSO follow the advice "2" comments down. "klawdelu" thread

    Thank me later

Hey bud, did all that but that line wouldn't delete, I can right click it and it deletes the 35 line for Dog, party but only the 35 deletes...rest of the line remains.
Edit-Okay so it works, you don't have to delete the entire row, just "DOG".

For some reason this mod causes any mods altering the mabari's appearance to not work. Anyone else ran into this problem?

I found a solution on how to change the walking animation speed for those who think that is too fast. Download this app https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/214?tab=files&file_id=12111 and open the file with it. In the app switch the mode from "designer" to "editor". Now, in the main window you will see a whole bunch of tabs. Go to the one that I have circled in red in this photo https://imgur.com/TL0NJQS and you will see that all the values are at 2.5 speed. Change them to any speed you like that is lower than that. I found that changing the value at 2 is the best. Afterwards apply changes and save the file. Hope that helps.

I came here to make the same suggestion, but this guy beat me by months.
For the smoothest movement, download the 'Inquisition Speed' option and follow the instructions above.

I've tried a couple versions but none seem to be like the video (which looks PERFECT to me). I can only assume it's been changed? ...or maybe I'm not installing it correctly?

The walking speed is just *way* too slow. I definitely disagree with the people who posted below me!

i really like the adjustment for the running speed, however the walking speed is kind of fast, isn't it?

i mainly use it to immerse myself a bit when walking through Denerim and it seems like my warden is in quite a hurry

I mean when in Denerim they're sometimes a wanted Warden so maybe they're walking quickly to avoid the City Guards lol? Kidding but I agree, the walking looks fast from the demo video.

The running speed is great! Would you consider adding a file with just the running speed change? THANK YOU!!!
