This might be a dumb question, but which additem script mod is required for this to work? I'm currently using AddItem with Console Improved by eclips3d, and I can't seem to add the lute into my inventory. I tried the command, runscript additem minstrels_lute, as well as runscript additem minstrels_lute.uti 1. Both cases would always say "Success", but nothing is added to my inventory for some reason. Would appreciate if anyone could help

And that hair looks great! Fits dwarves nicely, too. Their heads are a little wider so sometimes it looks odd, but I think this one looks fantastic. Thanks!

I haven't been able to figure out a way to make it visible in one of the accessory slots -- I'd love to be able to, but if it's possible, it's currently beyond my skill level! It technically works right now as a shield, it's just the positioning on the hand isn't quite right for that.
You don't need to credit me really for the mod -- the lute assets belong to CD Projekt Red, and all credit should go to them. But feel free to do whatever with it otherwise. :)
I love the hair. I'm just having an eensy problem. I followed the instructions to the letter, even opened my toolset to fix the color, yet in CC, the hair is transparent. I can see that it's there, but it almost looks like colored glass. Any ideas?
your Laud mod is nice I like to recommend that the weapons do not look ugly with the Hip Sheath mod by danexuslurker so that the weapons like Daggers, Axes, Swords, Hammers are in the waist and that way they do not interfere with your mod
If you do make a weapon-slot version, may I suggest not using one of the one-handed weapon types? I can imagine that would end up looking awkward for those us using the hip sheath mod
I'm working on it right now and so far my best bet with that seems to be setting it as a shield. I don't use the hip sheath mods -- does it alter the placement of the shields at all?
Did some minor testing with it as a shield and using those tactics... seems to work just fine so far. (That idea is brilliant, by the way.) So I'll upload the alternate version in a second here, and hopefully it's what you're looking for. :)

Can you please use a weapon slot?
Tactics:
self-game mode-exploration-switch to weapon set 1 (lute)
self-game mode-combat-switch to weapon set 2 (weapons)
no clipping with weapons
character can wear any armor
or helmet slot?
