That distortion is an issue with the ported robe, and with any equippable item (and even modded hairs), when the port doesn't include LOD files. Likewise, the chalice bug is inherent with most mod-added armors and clothing.
As I've said previously, I didn't create the robes, all I did was modify a game file to equip an NPC with mod-added gear. Any quibbles or issues with the robes should be addressed to the modder who actually ported the item.
Mod works great for both Act 1 and Act 3 coats along with the staff. Only thing i noticed is this mod causes Anders joining scene to glitch out. By that i mean the goblet is upside down when he drinks from it lol. Giving him a generic robe fixes this so I don't know why only your outfits cause this. I don't see any comments talking about this so I figure i mention it if anything can be done about it. how it looks in game: https://imgur.com/MC8RAqm
The robes aren't 'my outfits', all I did was modify a game file so to equip an NPC with mod-added gear. Any quibbles or issues with the actual robes should be addressed to the modder who actually ported the item.
The alternative Act 1 textures seem to work just fine in game for me. The model of Anders' robes, however, is slightly different between the light/dark version so short of porting the Act 1 model there's nothing that can be done to perfectly recreate his Act 1 look. Personally, this slight difference doesn't bother me at all. I think you are very kind to take the extra step of porting the Act 1 texture, theskymoves. Thank you for your work! :)
I'm sorry for not responding sooner, but I just saw this! (I didn't get any notifications from the site for ages, and then had a flood of them that it took a while to get through.)
Yeah, that texture looks awful. There's must be a second mesh for that robe... I'll leave the texture up for anyone who is a glutton for punishing their eyes, but wow, that's a really unfortunate thing my well-intentioned effort did to your game. Please accept my apology. :-(
No offense taken, I was just explaining what the situation is.
The textures seen in my screencaps are the textures included in Kirkwall Exports; that mod only includes the one version of the robes.
If you look in the Miscellaneous files for this mod, I've just uploaded textures for the Act 1/2 version of the robes, extracted from DA2 game files. I renamed them to act as replacers for the Kirkwall Exports textures, if you want to give them a try. (I can't test them in-game because I don't have DAO installed, so I can't vouch for how the textures will look... sometimes lighter DA2 textures get very 'plastic' looking in DAO, and that may be why Amycus opted for the darker Act 3 appearance.)
Sorry to not be more helpful! Unfortunately, I'm constrained by not having games installed and having lost all my modding files earlier this year.
I certainly would love to download and use this mod, but there is an issue: his robes.
Anders's robes are not black until Act 3 of DA2, depending on if the player chooses to complete his final personal quest.
So, for me this breaks immersion.
IF you have the time could you give Anders his robe from DA2 Act one and two, please?
I'll check in from time to time.
Take Care
I didn't port the robes. I used what was available. If someone has ported the Act 1/2 robes, and you can point me to that port, I'll try to accommodate your request, but otherwise, I can't make a mod that doesn't have the prerequisites. (I'm neither a 3D modeler or a texture wizard, so I must rely on the efforts of other modders for those elements.)
What's mod that gives Varel recolored armor on the 3rd image?
I've used a bunch of armor tint replacers over the years, and I have no idea which replacer (or combination of replacers) I was using back then. Sorry.

Anyone who comments to just say they don't like the mod will be blocked from my content.
Constructive criticism is fine. Informing me that you personally have no use for a mod is of no value.

My apologies, I meant no offense. Doesn't Kirkwall Exports have the original color robes?
