That would make sense, as both have a script which alters the events immediately following the Joining. Basically, unless you have a way to combine the two scripts, you will have to choose which reward you like better and go with that.
have to say pretty decent boost without it being totaly op, but I would find it odd seeing duncan or any warden recruiter say here read these books to become stronger now that you a grey warden to every recruit and the few other fatcs already mentioned on how you suppose to be sacrificing your life, the blood only does so much, you are "awarded" already, etc...
Actually, you do get something from the Joining, even without this mod. First, you get enough XP to gain a new level, and second, you get an extra talent point.
I uninstalled and deleted 1.1 before I realize 1.2 wasn't a dazip, so I just dumped them into the correct folder. This time I got 1 point added in my Talent and 1 Attribute book.
I am getting a Talent point automatically (no book or reading) instead of the skill book you mentioned and the attribute book.
I tried a google for the 1.1 version dazip, with no luck.
Yes, I had the new version from January 1st and just completed the ritual but didn't get any books. I got 1 Talent point added automatically, which caused me to show I had level up from the point. ------------------- You can overwrite this version with new one- from 3.01.2010, and it will work fine
