Hey, I really like the idea of this mod, but do you think it'd be possible to make a variant using vanilla armor from the game? Because as much as I would really (Very much) like to have them not wear robes, those pre-req files are massive. Pretty please?

Both of those mods are MASSIVE, multi-part downloads that come in modular packages. Could you possibly list what specific files you need from each of those mods to make this work, so that those of us not interested in spending a few hours downloading the entire packages of requirements could pull those files out of the morass?
Hey! i looked through each required file and the bits needed are "Cuirass of the Dragon Rider" from Swan Song in the Light Armor part 2, "Armor of the Phoenix Battlemaster" from Trading Post in Medium Armor, and "Phoenix Patriarch" from Trading Post in Heavy Armor
oh, thank the Maker for you! It also always bothered me about the robes and then the staff thing. Maybe I missed a meaning or description in the lore somewhere, but I found it super odd for dwarves to have mage related items.
