   They look great in the toolset, but they have strong orange and red undertones and in the game, the characters look dark orange, or brown-red. :(

      It's likely due to the character creator's lighting. It makes everything look much more red/warmer than it does in game. Might I recommend horarous' mod? It just changes the lighting in the CC to more natural lighting https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/4869

      ooh I didn't know about this mod, thanks!!! :D
      although it won't help here - I meant toolset - I tried to change the elves in the Alienage, and they're orange >.> But, the lightning in the alienage is also horrible, so that may be it.
