   Is this a PC exclusive bug? I'm pretty sure I had the option when I played the game on Playstation, at least.

      Its bugged on Playstation too.

      AlmostALegend is correct. I played this on my PS3 before I got into the PC version & you can't give them money even when you select the option to do so. : (

   I'm already passed Lothering, but I'm also on my UmpTeenth Play Through... so next I'll be ready. Wish I had seen this earlier, but at least, from now on even my mean Characters would give them some coin!!!

   That's a lovely fix. I always felt bad for them, especially when you tell them you've killed the bandits and they're like "Right, let's take our little daughter for some quality time searching corpses for our belongings."
