hey i dont know if anyone still checks this, but i cant get the mod to work and i dont have any other mods changing the same files that i can see, so if someone could help me figure this out that would be appreciated
1. Are you using the replacement tints or additional tints? If the additional tints, double-check that you do not have another chargen file. 2. Have you placed the files in the correct folder? (Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override)
My last playthrough of the game was with this mod. And I'll never play without him again! :) Everyone looks better with this mod! Amazing work *_* Thank you!
Thanks! It's my own morph--perhaps I should consider uploading it and the other companion ones? They're not very drastic, just small changes, so I never considered it worth sharing, but if there was interest...
Hi just downloaded this mod yesterday and before i forget i thought i give it the thumbs up.I like the way ti improved the colors but not dramaticly. But what i really liked was that I fixed several of my characters that had glitches from dracomies true texture mods that had bothered me for a while and i was never able to solve them i had actually tried to remove that mod but it was a dependency in many face mods and it was just never possible because its use is so widespread..Its like grey eyecolor some love it but i hated it.. Any way the problem was certain elf faces had glassy areas on them especially around the eyes.. i was never able to solve this but your mod did it changed the areas to a non-reflective look and i am thrilled .......... Oh i had one minor criticism I use DAO modmanager 1.9 and it did not recognize the tint files so i could not create an override file which makes it easier to install/uninstall this doesn't hurt the performance in anyway so it just a personal preference..thank you for the fine work!!!
Well, that is an unexpected bonus, then! Glad you were able to solve your problem. :) And thanks for the nice comment!
IDK how the modmanager reacts with tint files. :\ Sorry this was a difficulty; I personally always prefer to do things manually. I think I'll add a notice about this on the main page; thank you for bringing it to my attention!
"Before kissing the toolset an extremely sorrowful goodbye due to Windows 10" Why?
Whatever the specific problem the Toolset has with W10, and I can think of many, especially the hard coded, DX9 4GB System RAM limitation, W10 has. Specifically that hit's Skyrim's ENBHost.exe tool, which uses all your available 64-bit System RAM, if required, making heavy modding for DX9 games, on W10 unstable. For that game alone, and indeed most DX9 games I mod, W10 is not recommended.
You can simply Dual Boot W7 (Recommended), or run it through a virtual machine, for your DX9 games. No need to abandon them, or their tools, because you have W10. Use what's best for that game, and for 32-bit DX9 games, it's W7.
This is beautiful! I can't wait to install it and use it - I didn't realize there was such a huge contrast between Zevran's hair and skin, wow! His hair is so BRIGHT!
I have to ask, though: is there any way you'd upload your Merrill morph? I love mods for continuity, making characters look more like their later/earlier counterparts, but I don't want to use any of the Merrill ones because they whitewash her...
Hi there! This mod is great. I had no idea how bad the lighting in the games were until I ported the original DAO skin tints into DA2. The darkest skin color came out looking white in that game o___O But I ported your mod too and the skin colors turned out as it should. I was wondering if you would upload your skin tints for DA2 or allow me to use them specifically for my mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/4071/?) as someone was hoping I replace some of the DA2 skin tints for NPCs with the ones they had in Origins. Personally, I'd love to see how all the DAO characters in DA2 should look with your mod in place. Thanks!
Hi! I'm glad you like my mod, and took the time to say so. Thank you! I'll see if I can't add them maybe as an optional file to my DA2 mod here: But DA2 skins are really strange and IMO, worse than DAO in the way they work. But I'm happy to hear they ported okay for you! In the meantime, yes, you can use them for your mod, (which looks nice BTW! I may have to check it out, especially if you perhaps fix Alistair) just as long as you give some quick credit in the description? I appreciate you asking.
Of course I'll credit you thanks so much. The DA2 skins are really strange as is the lighting (I honestly had no idea what people were talking about when they say "Bioware lighting" but now I know...) but your mod does hold it own against them! I appreciate you letting me use it for now and I'll be sure to refer back to this mod when you convert the DA2 skins yourself. Thanks so much again!

Thank you!
Which mod did you use for Zevran with the earring though? He looks so cute!

Thanks for v2, anyway.
